Anfarwol's ears twitched as an unfamiliar sound reached him in the depths of the cell the Garleans kept them in. Holding his breath, trying to keep his heartbeats slow and rhythmic so he could try hear more. The Garleans seemed to be speaking some kind of rushed orders- but the cacophony of voices when they were so accustomed to silence broken up only by machines at work resulted in no understanding of what the orders could be.
Furrowing their brow, he leaned forward, straining within the chains, twisting their head to get his ears just a little closer. The Garleans voices seemed to be reaching some kind of crescendo yet still their words meant nothing just what-
A thunderous explosion came from the doorway and blinding lights silhouetted what Anfarwol could only assume was the cause of the sudden commotion. The figure was still for only a moment before rushing towards his cell, the stranger having no hesitation in their movements as they reached out for the bars before Anfarwol.
"Do you want out?"
Anfarwol nodded. Feeling the dryness in his throat, they knew his words would fail them should he try.
"Hold still." The stranger commanded, pulling at the bars in his handles lightly at first, testing their strength as if he could simply b- Anfarwol's eyes widened as he watched his saviour bend the bars open before striding into the cell, yanking the chains from their anchors and tossing them towards him.
Once the final anchor lay at the Viera's feet, the man- a ghastly pale Elezan - offered a hand to Anfarwol.
Starring at it for a moment, Anfarwol opened his mouth to speak, but the prickle of hairs on the back of their neck had him snap their mouth shut and turn to the doorway with a snarl, lurching his body forward as they readied to charge at whatever fools would try and seize his freedom before they could truly taste it.
