Crocodile wakes up alone. He's sure…. No, he knows he didn't go to bed alone. All the scratches and bites and bruises all over his body are proof enough. And if not then he can hear someone humming in his room. There's only one person he'd allow to stay in his room….
Sitting up he looks around. There's pink feathers all over his sheets even if his… guest's pink feather coat is carefully hung over a chair. Unlike Crocodile's own coat lying haphazardly on the floor. Is it moulting season or something that he loose so many feathers?
Yawning he looks around and spots him sitting in an open window. Soaking in the rays if sunrise. Letting in last it's of cold desert night air. Not that either of them is bothered all that much by it.
Donquixote Doflamingo. A Vice-admiral of the Marines. Assigned the title for who knows what. Most of what he, his brother and crew do is so redacted it's a wonder why anyone bothers making the report.
It's quite the power trip to have Doflamingo share his bed. He build quite the reputation. Stringing his enemies up for target practice for his brother.
He's seen the two interact outside of fights. Never during. Which is a shame, it's apparently quite the spectacle. But as he is all he knows is how fast Doflamingo abandoned his side to hug his brother, mess up his hair and chatter to him in some weird bird-like code. It stung but knowing their secret and seeing who stood confused next to the younger brother…. Yeah. No wonder he was worried.
But right now he could watch Doflamingo sitting naked, only covered by his wings. Anyone who managed to spot him would thinks he's wrapped in his coat. Humming, trying to not wake Crocodile.
He forgot why Doflamingo is in Alabasta. He's pretty sure he's just passing by and decided to stop for resupply. It's too early for Warlord's quarterly meeting. It's still too often. Why can't the Government summon them just when there's something important going on? Ah yes, they have to show off.
"You're up early, birdie," Crocodile yawned, stretching on the bed. He was not getting up and out the sheets yet. Someone did just spend who knows how long letting cold air in.
"Crocky," Doflamingo grinned, turing to look at Crocodile.
It was quite pleasant to see the half-lunarian stand up and cross the room. Stretching the whole way. Muscles moving under his tan skin. Smiling widely. His glasses were who knows where. Quite the show of trust to be able to see the scar over his left eye. The discoloration of his eye. The one sign of weakness.
"You're quite lazy in the mornings," the Vice-admiral chuckled sitting next to him and laying himself over the Warlord.
"Only with you around," Crocodile shrugged and got a kiss in return for his honesty.
He gets to see Doflamingo all petulant and childish, walls of competency dropping. And Doflamingo gets to see him laze about a bit. Not a bad exchange.
