He smirks, almost cruelly, his maroon eyes dazzling under the recessed lights of the kitchen, then says, “and pray tell, my dear, what is it about me that has you so enraptured?”
“Uh…” You’re at a loss for words, as you usually are around him. Handsome, charming, funny, clever, well-dressed, kind, generous, helpful, insightful, wicked-smart… All these words float through your mind before you blurt out, “I think you’re hot.”
