Run my hands through his short black hair (I love you, Sixer, I don’t care)

Notes:

I randomly had an interest in noob666 and this is the result :33

Work Text:

The two lay on the couch. Noob sits with their knees against the chest, arms wrapped around them, almost hugging themselves. Sixer wants to reach out and hug them herself but she stays still, laying back against the headboard.

They both try to focus on the show displayed on the tv screen, some sort of old cartoon plays.

It’s pretty late, Sixer doesn’t even have to check the time to know that. They can feel the exhaustion deep in their bones.

The couch creaks as Noob begins to stand, looking over to their small kitchen, “I-I’m hun-hungry. I’ll go- I’ll go look for s-something for us- us to eat. Okay?” They glance back at the guest.

Sixer only nods, sitting up a little bit, watching as the other walks away into the dimly lit kitchen.

Noob walks over to their fridge, opening the door and shivering a bit at the sudden cold air.

They stare into their fridge, thinking of what they could make for the two of them. All they had was a half-eaten leftover cheeseburger and probably a few too many cases of bloxy colas…

The noob had been trying to stop drinking as much, not only is it probably bad for them but the taste makes them sick. It reminds them of Forsaken, the countless bloxy colas they downed as they ran for their life. But you can’t really blame them! It makes their head quiet down for a bit, calming their nerves and leaving them feeling playful and hazy.

They miss going to raves and getting black-out drunk with Sixer, laughing and hanging onto their best friend. But now they’re too fragile, easily overwhelmed and tearing up at most loud noises. The thought of being in a crowded space that bright and noisy makes them shudder.

Seems like they’ll be ordering from Builder Brother’s, not like they care, their pizza is pretty good and Sixer likes it too.

They try to ignore how nervous the idea of actually ordering through phone calls makes them. Noob sighs quietly, they wish it had online delivery or whatever it’s called.

They pat around the pockets of their green sweatpants, realizing they left their phone in the living room.

The noob whines quietly about their own clumsiness before starting to walk back to the couch.

Sixer is still laying there, tail swaying lazily as he seems to be zoned out. Noob spots their phone on the armrest next to him.

They reach out to grab their phone and the jingle of their phone charm seems to wake the guest out of their daze.

“H-Hey, I’m gonna o-order pizza.” Noob looks down at Sixer softly. They only nod in response, their horns- ears? bounce a little in the process and it earns them a breathy giggle from Noob.

Noob walks back over to the kitchen quietly, one hand picking at their already-ruined fingernails as the other one dials the pizza number. They struggle for a moment, shaky fingers and all but eventually the phone rings.

They pick the same order they usually do, one cheese pizza and one sausage. It’s the same order since they were a young teen.

The call is shorter, and less awkward than they expected. Thank Telamon.

Noob almost jumps out of their skin when they feel something small and soft rub itself against their leg.

“ack-!” The noob shrieks before looking down at the small black cat looking back at them, “oh… hi- hi, t-tac!!” They kneel down, cooing at the fluffy creature, “Awh! M-My sweet k-kitty!”

Tac trills back at them, rubbing its face against their knee. They feel their heart ache in affection at the gesture. Telamon, they would do anything for this cat.

They got Tac recently after Forsaken, people told them having a companion would help with their worsened anxiety. It was a skittish stray they slowly won over, but in a way, they were the same. Tac was one of the best things that has ever happened to them.

They remember laughing at how their dark fur color and red eyes reminded them of Sixer.

Noob doesn’t know how much time passes as they sit on the kitchen tile, scrolling through their phone and petting Tac. A knock at the door breaks them out of it.

Oh yeah… the pizza. They scramble to their feet before quickly running over to the door.

They open the door to see a familiar blonde robloxian behind it, Elliot. He smiles brightly, despite everything that’s happened in the past, he’s still so kind. Noob remembers how he helped them in the rounds, throwing out pizza to whoever needed it, putting himself in dangerous situations to help others no matter how scared he was. They admired him really, well they admired most of the survivors but y’know.

“Pizza deliver for-“ Elliot starts before noticing the name on the crumbly receipt stuck to the pizza box, “oh! Noob!” He finishes, smiling wider.

The other giggles shyly, opening their wallet, decorated with little stickers and charms they’ve gotten over the years, and pulls out a few dollars. They make sure to tip Elliot extra well too, maybe as some sort of thanks for what he's done for them in the past, even if he tries to refuse for three minutes straight.

The door shuts and they take the boxes back over to the couch, Sixer sits up as they walk towards him. It’s hard to see in the dim living room but theyre pretty sure his tail is wagging a little too.

“I-I got our- our favs!” They drop the boxes down on the coffee table with a quiet thud. The noob grabs a slice and offers it to the other.

“Thank you.” Sixer signs before accepting the slice that Noob is offering them. Sixer’s claws graze their fingers for a second and they feel their heartbeat get a little faster.

Noob sits down on the couch awkwardly, falling back into the same position they were sitting in a little bit ago, chin resting against their knees.

They try to let themselves relax into the couch, but they still feel tense, anxious, emotional. Telamon, its so embarrassing… they probally look like such a weirdo to Sixer.

Noob looks over to the guest next to them, she’s still eating her pizza. They’re almost mesmerized, and maybe a little terrified, by how her sharp teeth pull at each bite, tearing without resistance. It reminds them of…

They shudder violently.

Noob knows it wasn’t her fault, she was practically possessed during that time, used as nothing but a lifeless murder-machine for its sick enjoyment, but they don’t think they’ll ever forget how it felt, hundreds of teeth the size of their hands tearing them limb from limb…

The tears painfully pricking at the corners of their eyes snap them out of it. Sixer’s here, she’s safe and they’re relationship is starting to heal, they shouldn’t dwell on it longer.

Noob looks over to Sixer and gives them a nervous grin. Shit, they're looking at them…

They quickly look away, despite how they still feel the others crimson red stare into the side of their face.

Sixer feels guilt gnaw at their chest, like someone had wrapped their fingers around the his heart and squeezed. He knows what Noob is thinking, he can tell by their sweaty palms and the aggressive shudder that wracked through them a mere few seconds ago.

The two sit in awkward silence. It feels unbearable but both of them are too scared to break it.

Eventually, the moment ends. They finish eating and Sixer helps Noob clean up the pizza boxes, paper plates and even the soda cans from earlier that afternoon.

They felt so guilty having her sleep on the couch, especially with her now chronic pain issues and even seeing the other try to squish her now-larger frame into the smaller couch made them even more sore just by looking at it. Sixer mostly took back shape of what they look liked before, body wise. They just looked like the average guest, but now theyre noticeable taller. Not to mention how now they  have thicker bones that bulge out awkwardly, morbidly big claws and even bigger horns.

But Sixer always turned them down firmly when they offered switching, her taking their bed and them taking the couch, shaking her head and signing the same stubborn “no.” every time. They’ve been trying to save up for an air mattress recently, hopefully that will help. They’d do anything for him.

Noob mutters an awkward goodnight to Sixer before switching off the light, watching as the guest on the couch shifts around to get comfortable.

They don’t get to see if they signed it back or not because they turned off the light just as they finished the sentence and they curse themselves for it a little. It wasn’t a huge deal but it still felt a bit mean in their eyes. They seemed to do that a lot. Overthinking. Was it overthinking though? Maybe that really upset Sixer…

Noob groans quietly, quietly walking over to their bathroom to brush their teeth an hopefully go to sleep easily. Though sleep didn’t usually come easily for them, not after everything that’s happened… maybe they’d get lucky?

Sixer feels the familar sensation of pain starting to spike throughout them. Shit. Telamon, please no. Their fingers curl into a tight fist.

Ever since the body change situation, they’ve been cursed with constant aching. It’s miserable.

He tries to be quiet, he really does, but it’s so hard to stay silent. His body aches so bad, sharp and torturous pain spreading through his entire being. Sixer curls in on themselves, squirming against the cushions of the couch as small, pained grumbles force themselves through his teeth.

What can be assumed as the door to the others bedroom opens and she prays they don’t notice her writhing, but she’s never been lucky because when she opens her eyes, she’s met back with their concerned face.

Noob doesn’t say anything at first, just looking at her worriedly. She knows how much they care and it only makes it worse. Her chest tightens.

They reach their hand out to him, “I-If you, if you w-want you could s-sl-sleep with m-me in my bed, l-like old times?” They offer, a sheepish smile on their face.

The guest’s face warns at the memory. She remembers. She remembers when they would cuddle up against each other at sleepovers, convincing themselves that the apartment was just cold despite the fact they would wake up sweaty and hot everytime. She remembers how she would curl her fingers into the thick fabric of their blue hoodie, breathing in the scent of greasy fast food and whatever hair product they used. They still use it now, sometimes she sniffs the bottle when she uses the shower.

“Yes please.” He shakily signs, clawed fingers trembling with the force of his misery.

Noob’s smile widens, shifting into something even warmer somehow. They reach out to Sixer, guiding him up before grabbing his walking calm and sliding it into his grip.

The two start making their way to Noob’s bedroom. Its quiet, peaceful and dim in the way that only happens this late at night.

Sixer notices their black cat slippers, resembling their own cat, Tac. They even seemed to color in the slippers embroidered eyes with a red marker to match it better, judging by the fact they used to be white before. She smiles a little, despite how much pain she is in.

They make it there fairly quickly, Noob’s apartment isn’t the biggest, just enough for them and Sixer. Tac too of course.

They look at the noobs bed, it’s pretty messy, covered in many pillows and blankets. It looks more then comfortable though.

Noob frolics over and slides under their many blankets, quickly patting the empty spot next to them, “Cmon! I p-promise it’s com-comfortable.” They assure them.

Sixer hopes they can fit in the bed without embarrassing themselves, it’s not a small bed but it seems like it was designed for two normal robloxians, not a robloxian and whatever Sixer is.

The guest hesitantly make their way over and begin climbing onto the space next to their friend. Sixer can practically feel the warmth radiating off of them.

She lays flat on her side, its rather awkward. She’s trying not to be in Noob’s space too much, even if it would feel nice. They’re already being nice enough to let her in the bed, Sixer doesn’t want to overstep.

Noob seems to notice, “Hey…I was uhm, uh, wonder, wondering if m-maybe you w-want-wanted to c-cuddle like we u-used to?” They stammer nervously.

Sixer would never pass down their gracious offer.

Her breath hitches as she shifts closer to them, wrapping her arms around them, careful not to scratch them, and presses her face into their neck.

Noob reciprocates, wrapping their arms

around the other and squeezing sweetly.

She can feel her eyes drooping in their presence and it seems to be mutual, guessing by the half-asleep look on their face.

Sixer looks at Noob, really looks at them, closely too. They way their messy blonde curls frame their face, the dimples on their cheeks when they smile, their big brown eyes…

She fights the urge to pounce on them. This time it isn’t possessed, animalistic violence, ripping their guts out of their body and drinking the crimson that spills. It’s a different kind of want, Sixer wants to grab their face and kiss them until he combines beings with them, breathe the air they exhale, to take whatever his best friend had for him. To be nothing but theirs. He wants them to consume him whole. He wants them to share souls, if they don’t already.

He can feel their breath against his throat, its warm against his cold body. He basks in it whole-heartedly, pressing against them as much as he can.

“S-Sixer…” Noob ask out, absentmindedly playing with the guest’s hair.

Sixer hums curiously, looking up at them. They’re face seems to be flushed an almost bright pink.

“Can I… t-tell you something?” They sound nervous. He panics just a little but nods anyways.

“I… I kinda, uh, l-like y-you..” they sniffle, “I have, I ha-have for a l-little b-bit now.”

“Ever since y-you and I got b-back to, to home from that.. p-pl-place, I’ve realized h-how much I l-love you, Sixer.” Tears build in their eyes. They’re so scared, they pray to Telamon this doesn’t ruin anything, they can’t lose him.

Sixer can feel tears pricking the corners of their eyes too, “I love you too,” He signs, “so much.”

Noob’s eyes widen a little, tears stream down their face harder. Especially when one of the guest’s fingers come up to wipe away the tears himself.

“We should, uh…wait t-till morn-morning and then talk about…this, okay?” Noob watches as the other nods.

Sixer hesitantly nuzzles their face into the noob’s neck, earning a giggle from them, “Hehe! Y-Your like a b-big kitty!” They joke sleepily.

Noob breathlessly giggles at how needy the other is, tired and affectionate. They can feel sleep start to take them. Seems like that air mattress probably won’t be needed.

She hopes their together in every universe, partner’s, friends, anything. As long as they are there, as long as they’re in the same space as her, breathing the same air.

It doesn’t stop the pain gnawing at her body, nor the sorrow that often plagues her mind, but being surrounded by the warm arms of her closest friend makes it better.
