Summary
Eddie was woken by someone wincing next to him:
Buck.
He was curled up, still asleep but not laying still.
“Honey, what’s wrong? Are you in pain?”
No response: whatever this was, Buck’s body must have decided to sleep through it. Eddie tried to wake him once more, now softly shaking him, a hand on his shoulder.
“Buck, darling, you have to wake up.”
When he got no response, Eddie placed his hand on the front of Buck’s head.
Sweat had soaked up into the blonde curls, the skin under Eddie’s fingers warmer than usual.or
