Summary
The first is a tall man with dark blonde hair, a goatee, and tattoos on his arms and hands. He’s in a black jacket, a fitted black t-shirt, and black tactical pants with black boots. The second is a young teenage girl with long brown hair wearing a light brown jacket, a grey shirt, and jeans. They must be wearing scent patches because he can’t smell them, but the man looks like an alpha. A very familiar alpha. The man shifts nervously and clasps his hands in front of himself in a parade rest. Ryland looks into the man’s grey-blue eyes and blinks incomprehensively. It’s like looking into the eyes of a ghost.
“Hey, Ry,” Court says. His lip quirks up on one side in an awkward half-smile. “Been a while.”
The CIA, to Court's surprise, strike a deal with him after the events of The Gray Man. He's officially Courtland Gentry again. He's free. The first thing he and Claire do is go see Court's brothers even though Court is nervous that they won't want him there. What Court didn't know is that Ryland's about to go into rut and it lowkey freaking out about it.
Turns out he didn't have anything to worry about.
