Summary
Jinx Lane had once worshipped the very ground that Luxanna Crownguard walked on.
The two of them had gone to high school together but they were far from friends. Lux and her friends bullied Jinx relentlessly, making Jinx's life a living hell. But behind closed doors, they had been in a secret relationship. Even despite the cruelty and the abuse, Jinx loved Lux. She loved her more than she did anything in the world, including herself.
But after school was over, Lux had abandoned her and Jinx tried to pick up the pieces.
Five years later, Jinx was a hacker, helping her uncle when it came to crime. Lux, on the other hand, was dating Ezreal Grant, a successful business man and a gigantic idiot who gave her all the money she could ever ask for.
When Jinx accidentally bumps into Lux again, she expected for them to get back together. But Lux was with someone else and tells Jinx exactly that. Of course, Jinx felt hurt and betrayed and angry. It should've been her. She knew that Lux loved her, not Ezreal. And so, Jinx decided to do the rational thing and infiltrate Lux's life again, solely to ruin it. If she couldn't be happy, neither could Lux.
After all, they were meant to be together.
