    Enjin buried his face in his hands, his head replaying the scene of Rudo and Gris both tumbling to the ground. The Sphereite took the brunt of the hit, the other man doing everything in his power to shield him.

    The kid’s frame was much smaller than Gris’s. If the supporter hadn’t been there to bear some of the damage, Rudo could very well be dead.

    Enjin shook his head, trying to rid that thought from his mind. He couldn’t lose them, either of them, and today was too close.
