The Way to an Robot's Heart

Summary:

Something broken sticks out, glowing warm. You're sitting just beyond the door. It's burning up in my own head, like one of your cheap cigarettes. My throat is roses in full bloom, a flush of red that I consume. And you'll be glad to share the blame. Kill me softly, say my name
lyrs :3

This should be obvious, YOU NEED TO READ THE FREAKING TAGS.
. . .
Hearing the chainsaw start up slowly, the ticking of the ignition, its finger joints tightened on the handle. It watched its piece of prey squirm relentlessly from where they hang, wrists tied above their head. It let out a small growl of laughter, its vocal synthesizers chattering, to finally see them like this, after watching them for so long. It ran a knuckle over the line it had deliberately sliced into them as a mock of an incision line, letting out another chatter of amusement.

Notes:

Also #pronouncheck

Geist it/its

Work Text:

Tesla fidgeted with their key chain they hung off their phone, anxiously. They shouldn't have texted it, they were being an idiot, romance wasn't their thing. They let out a hiss of breath, tossing their phone onto their pillow, flopping down onto their bed with a groan of frustration. Everyone told them to shoot their shot. "C'mon Tes, the worst it can say is 'no'." Rust's advice pounded in their ears, practically echoing against their heartbeat, which had risen to their ears moments earlier. They leaned up, hearing the buzz of a notification, picking up their phone urgently.

g.exe:
Yeah sure, I'll come over whatever.

Tesla's heart leapt to their throat, leading them to choke on a small relieved giggle. Yes, yes, yes! Maybe romance is your thing, Tes! They hyped themself up, at least Geist responded, all of the previous times it was just a blunt 'Delivered' or 'Read'. This time was different!

Tesla Radiowaves:
Ok awesome. I'm cool whenever you are.

Tesla watched the small dots animation, practically studying it. Were they too.. what did Zero call it, ambitious, excited?

g.exe:
On My Way!
...
I'll be there in a few.

Tesla practically threw their phone onto the bed it was laying on, covering their face with a pillow and kicking their legs. "Tesla, you're a romantic genius alongside all of your other smarts!" They whisper-screamed, before standing and tossing the pillow back onto their bed. They checked how they looked in the mirror almost five times in the three minutes it took for Geist to knock on the front door. They swung their bedroom door open, "I'll get it!" They felt like they were finally getting a good life, one they deserved.

They opened the door, Geist standing before them. ".. Is Rust home?" It's voice synthesizer growled, joints letting out a soft clicking sound as it shifted, standing taller.

Tesla nodded, "Well yeah, but they don't have to get in the way—"

Geist shook its head. "We're not staying here, not if they're here." It stated, stepping off the porch slightly. "I have a place."

This is when it gets good, no more sunshine lollipops and rainbows.

Geist used its foot to prop the door open, letting Tesla walk into the small rental house before it. "So let me get this straight, you invited me over to ask me out?" It's asked, before letting the front door slam shut. "That's new." It nodded towards the 'living room' which was more of a couch it had dragged from a driveway two blocks away, still with the 'FREE' paper sign taped onto it. "I made this house a home." It added, before turning away briefly.

It knew Tesla was looking towards a 'relationship' of sorts. But it needed to stick it to the tombsonas again. Maybe it was being too gruesome, that didn't even exist to it. "You want any water?" It asked, already having a poured out glass, room temperature most definitely, with a reasonable amount of GHB and rohypnol mixed in. It didn't wait for a response, practically shoving the glass to Tesla's hands.

Tesla blinked under their mask. "Uh, thanks." They muttered, taking a sip of the water as Geist sat next to it on the couch, tense. "I didn't realize you had your own place, thought you ran on spite and never took breaks." They added, trying a smile.

Geist turned to Tesla. "I've had this place for a month or so, decided to lay low because of an encounter with regiCORP I had recently." It stated, shifting slightly. This was taking too long, it had suspected a dosage as light as the one it had given Tesla would take long to take effect, but not this long. Then again. when did it ever roofie someone. "How's the rest of the tombsonas doing?"

Tesla smiled slightly, this time a genuine one. "Fine, we've been busying ourselves with our own things. Y'know the weirdest thing happened recently, this guy showed up, almost identical to Rust, and just lived in our living room for like a week. I went out to the backyard to test something, there was an actual horse in the back yard. Living, breathing horse just there!" They paused. "Rust hated the guy, I can't quite remember their name, but I enjoyed their presence for the most part." They swallowed, feeling like their throat was dry.

Geist nodded briefly. "Sounds interesting. Never thought that idiot would be related to someone, let alone have an identical twin." It commented, watching Tesla with a small twinge of joy. "Anything else?"

Tesla glanced at the glass, now half empty, its throat had gone from dry to what felt like sealed. It felt the pressure to attempt to breath, struggling to over all. Their gaze shifted to Geist, finally catching onto what it had planned. "You.. asshole." They rasped.

Geist reached to Tesla, tilting their head up slightly. "It wouldn't have been so easy if you hadn't been so stupid."

Hearing the chainsaw start up slowly, the ticking of the ignition, Geist's finger joints tightened on the handle.

It watched Tesla's gaze focus on the chainsaw, their voice being drained out from the roar. It took a step closer, bracing a foot against Tesla's chest, keeping them pinned to the couch. It slowly crept the chainsaw closer and closer to their stomach, their cries for pity and "To just hear them out," becoming louder and louder. It finally pressed the spinning chain to their stomach, watching the skin churn and be spat back out. It dug deeper, watching the magenta tinted crimson pour out from the gouge. It slowly tugged the piece of lawn equipment down Tesla's stomach, halting only when it met the belt loops of their pants. It stared at its handy work, an inch of pride stinging in its empty chest.

Geist shifted to rest on its knees, slowly digging its arm into the line it had just cut. It felt around for a moment, its sensors trying to pick up whatever it was feeling. It grasped something, which squished under its hold, and tugged it out, growing its incision with it. It's finger joints spasmed briefly, as it stared at the gore in its hands. A fleshy rope like thing, sectioned off into equal spaces, it squeezed it briefly, before realizing it would have to continue if it really wanted to do any damage.

It picked the chainsaw back up, again putting its foot against the empty host's chest, only now noticing the scars that lined that area as well. It started up the chainsaw again, pressing it into their stomach again. It carved out a larger hole, having cut through a few 'important' body parts along the way. It stared at its handy work, this time proud.

ᴄᴜᴛ ʜᴇʀᴇ ---------------------------------
ok now its boring cuz I have to wrap it up. was this good though?
ᴄᴜᴛ ʜᴇʀᴇ ---------------------------------

Rust yawned, hearing a knock echo at the door. Was Tesla finally back from that 'date'? They walked down the stairs, careful to not hit any of the creaking steps, before opening the front door. They blinked, coming face to face with.. Tombs, not again. Jacob stood there, looking slightly frazzled. "What do you want, Jacob? The living room is not available again." They watched Jacob just shake their head.

"Partner, in the nicest way possible, fuck your living room. You've got a dead guy on your roof." Jacob deadpanned, pulling Rust out of the door way and into the cold morning air. They pointed to the roof, where, indeed, there was a dead guy.

Rust gawked at the body for a moment before realizing. "Wait a damn minute! That's a short ass idiot- That's Tesla!" They shouted, grabbing Jacobs shoulders and shaking the other. "How did they get gutted and hung from our roof!" They added, pointing at the body.

Jacob shrugged. "Dunno, but if your living room ain't open, is your bedroom?"

Notes:

I had to search up "is there any powder that you can put into liquid to make someone faint" I'm smart with it though
