Summary
Harry inspired loyalty. Harry had saved their lives. Harry was famous, important, tragic in a way people found endlessly fascinating, and there was always some explanation available that made the intensity of their attachment to him seem like another consequence of everything that had happened.
Ron thought that was where people went wrong. They assumed loving Harry must have something to do with being Harry Potter.
It had always been much simpler than that.
———
Thirty years after the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry, Ron, and Hermione are killed in a Death Eater attack and wake to find themselves eleven years old again, with their first year at Hogwarts still ahead of them.
A self-indulgent story about all the ways there are to love someone.
