Hello there,
I’ve watched Project Hail Mary back in June and apparently that was enough time for these two to completely take over my brain. I’ve been thinking about this fic for months now, so here we go, this is my long shot (Americans call it Hail Mary).
As English isn’t my mother tongue, I might make mistakes or misunderstand things sometimes. I mostly rely on my own knowledge, with translation tools when I need them, so I appreciate your understanding!
I’m also dyslexic, so there will probably be spelling mistakes no matter how many times I reread a chapter. I’m trying my best, but somehow at least one always survives.
This fic will be written mostly from Stratt’s point of view, because apparently putting that woman into situations and then watching her attempt to rationalize her feelings is how I’ve decided to spend my free time.
There will be grief and some heavier themes throughout the story, particularly surrounding Project Hail Mary, identity, displacement and the lives they have lost. However, at its heart, this is a story about family, healing, choice, and two people slowly realizing that perhaps being stranded in the wrong universe doesn’t necessarily mean they ended up in the wrong life.
Please enjoy, and leave a kudos or comment if you like it! It genuinely means a lot to me.
