   Summary

   After spending most of her life wondering if Colin could ever love her back, Penelope finally decides it's time to come clean. He will say no, of course he will, there's never really been any doubt about that. And it will hurt, probably quite a lot, but that's fine.

   Because Penelope has planned this carefully. She has chosen the perfect day. By morning, Colin will be gone for a year, backpacking through Australia, and she will finally have the distance she needs to get over him.
