"You wanna know how I packed on all this…” Jason grins and slaps the rotund curve of his belly. “In eight months? I'll tell you the secret.”
Nate looks like a deer in the headlights of a semi-truck. For a moment, he just gapes, blue eyes huge and rapt on Jason’s gut.
“It’s… not for everyone,” Jason allows, tilting his head back. “But it sure has helped me. Like therapy, y’know?”
“Therapy,” Nate echoes softly. His stomach gives a loud, painful gurgle.
