Not a lot scares the infamous Sierra Six. He's known for being extremely good at his job, never seeming to fail in taking out a target. He is an unwavering creature built on pain and determination. He doesn't really do the whole fear thing often.
And yet, he sits there, hands shaking, heart racing. His mind is so loud, a stark contrast to the quiet analyzing he has come to know. There are a million things he could have done differently, should have, even. Six wouldn't have to worry about washing blood off his hands when he got back to the safe house if he had done any of those things. He wouldn't feel sick thinking about whose blood it was.
But let's get back on track here. What is it that has shaken up Sierra Six? Is he hurt? Did he almost die? Did he fail the mission? No, no, none of those things. Although he did almost die, that doesn't scare him anymore. Instead, he almost lost someone he cared about. The thought is foreign to his mind, because he hasn't had anyone he cares about like this. Sure, he cares about Fitzroy; the man is like a father to him. This was different, somehow, and that scared him almost as much as the blood.
