“Star’s getting pretty handy with a pair of scissors,” David says, voice low. He wraps one of the short curls that still frame the sides of Michael’s forehead around his finger, pulling gently.
“Yeah,” Michael sighs out, eyes fluttering at the feeling. “Was really long. Looked like a shaggy dog.”
David hums again. He shoves his whole hand into the back of Michael’s hair, yanking his head back so Michael has to look up at him. Michael gasps, knees buckling a little. “I liked it long.”
