    Summary

In all the years since he’d first been drafted up, Wile E. had written many signs that he never intended to reuse. Some situations were just too dire for expressions or cute graphics; some were phrases too specific to ever be used more than once. Those were fine, piled up quietly back home in the cave.
But there was one that felt—different. One that he knew he’d never bare to anyone again.
    "You’re Hurting Me."
The thing about those three little words was that, if you were as silly and absurd as a toon was thought to be, nobody cared. You could jump and stretch and burn and scream and all the audience would do was laugh, waiting for you to bounce back like you always did. It wasn’t always so frustrating, but Coyote knew not to bother with it anyways, even in situations where he probably should’ve.

    or,

Wile E. is nervous for his first time with Avery. Perhaps for good reason, purely given his past with humans. Avery is determined at that realization, hoping to keep his partner safe from the throes of pain, humiliation, and failure.
