“So, you’d rather choose combat and violence over boredom ? Like most people here”, Luke said in an almost provocative tone, toying with the edge of his now empty glass.
This boy must have a death wish. Unfortunately, Din’s pride – or rather Din’s loyalty to his religion – was slightly bruised, and he answered immediately, eager to dissipate such profanity :
“My people don’t choose such things.” His tone was dry, and Luke fell quiet, listening. “One must inevitably master weapons to stay safe, to survive. Violence without intent is foolish.”
“You’re definitely not a local”, he stated blankly, backtracking on his previous statement. For some odd reason, the Mandalorian felt flattered. “People here on Tatooine move without a real purpose. Or at least, that doesn’t go beyond survival or immediate satisfaction.”

A younger Din Djarin keeps running into a charming and chatty blond farm boy on Tatooine, and somehow keeps ending up in his bed. Not his fault, he swears.
Years later, he finds himself trapped aboard Moff Gideon’s imperial ship with no way out. A single X-Wing pulls up. Discoveries ensue. -
