Chapter Text
Dragon must admit he has never seen his husband so mad before. He gets that he still gets motherly instincts so it doesn't suprise him but it was still chilling. Once the news hit he watched as Crocodile stormed to the nearest Den Den Mushi and soon Rogers voice came from it. Afterwards Rouge and then Rayleigh and it was then that Dragon sighed at what was happening just because his father was an idiot.
A few hours later the two of them were standing on the Red force as Shanks had volenteered to carry them over to Dawn island "so you'll kidnap kids now?" Dragon finally asked which made Crocodile shoot him an angry look "it's not kidnapping if you're related!" He shot back and Dragon just chose not to fight back. He knew he was right, Ace and Sabo were his Nephews after all.
The plan sounded simple. At least if you asked Shanks and Crocodile. They would just walz onto Dawn, take Ace, Sabo and Luffy with them and in the process Kidnap Didit and perhaps Makino who had expressed her displeasure on Dawn and with Garp multible times.
Once on Dawn they immediantly walked into the Party bar where they found Makino patching up the boys. Luffy lit up the moment he saw them "PAPA! DADDY! SHANKS!" he yelled while jumping up and into Crocodiles arms "hey Lu!" Dragon greeted his son while patting his head. Luffy gave them a concern look "what are you doing here?" He asked and Dragon cursed how smart his kid could be. Crocodile only smiled softly "i'm here to take you three away!" He announces which makes all three boys light up "really?!" The said in corus, making the adults laugh. As if prompted Luffy turned towards Makino "what about Maki? Can she come?" He asked and Crocodile stared for a bit before smiling again "if she wants to.." he said and then she lit up, signaling a clear yes.
Shanks whispered to Yasopp and Benn who left immediantly before turning back to them "we'll just get one more person before leaving yeah? So pack whatcha need!" He said and soon the boys scrambled to get their stuff.
30 minutes had past and Makino and the boys were completely packed and ready to leave. The bar was given over to the mayor who was sad she would leave but glad she will have a place where she's happy. The red head pirates were loading their ship and the boys were saying goodbye to Dadan when a loud bang if a gun could be heard from the town. Everyone immediantly perked up and smoke could be seen from a distance. After a while there were three figures rushing out of it...Yasopp who had his smoke bombs ready and Benn who was carrying a woman that Dragon (and Sabo) identified as Didit. They reached them and Yasopp almost collapsed while Benn kept holding onto Didit "so...her husband had something against her leaving..." Benn gave as a short explanation and Didit only scoffed.
Benn gently let her down and Dragon offered a hand to help her up which she promptly takes. With everyone on the ship they soon departed to the place they could safely stay.

Kuraigana soon came into vision, alongside the siluette of Mihawks ship. They docked and all headed inside the castle where Mihawk was sitting and sipping wine while his daughter was laying on his lap, reading a book "heyyy!" Shanks announced himself and the small girl glanced his way before perking up at the sight of new kids. She jumped up, book long forgotten and hovered over to them. Luffy's eyes tripled in size "you can FLY?!" he said and she nodded proudly "my name is Perona!" She said and Luffy grinned back "i'm Luffy and those two are Sabo and Ace!" He answered. Perona immedianly pulled them away right as Rouge came running down the stairs "oh my stars! You got them!" She said while pulling Didit into a tight hug that made her break and quietly sob. The last conversation they had was a fight about Outlook lll so Didit must've thought they hated her until now.

It took a while for everything to settle down. Rouge got to actually meet Luffy and Sabo, Perona (who is Mihawks daughter ever since Moria gave her away) got to properly meet them aswell. The only people currently here were the one's who were believed to be dead, Mihawk, Perona and Rayleigh (who was currently making sure Roger doesn't overwhelm his own son)
Crocodile, Dragon and Mihawk were sitting at the long table with Luffy on top of Crocodiles lap "why did you take me here?" Luffy asked and Crocodile smiled softly "well...your...Grandfather-" he had to bite his tongue to not curse that old hag "-wasn't the nicest so it's best if you stay here with people that actually care!" Crocodile explained and Luffy seemed to understand that.
They all soon moved to their own activities. Perona was getting Shanks to braid her hair while instructing his daughter, Uta, into different outfits, Ace and Sabo where pressuring the Red head pirates into going exploring with them (spoiler: they won), Crocodile and Dragon informed every ally and friend of the kids now residing there and Makino was teaching Mihawk some secrets about alcohol (specifally wine)
"I wonder how long it'll take for them all to arrive here" Crocodile said once he finished the final den den call "how long do think it will take till my father notices?" Dragon asked which only got him a snort from his husband "y'know i think i should take bets on who will arrive first..." Crocodile murmured only loud enough for Dragon to barely hear.

A week later Crocodile sat in a Warlord meeting that seemed to be dragging on. Some of his fellow Warlords were actually friends. Kuma is working for Dragon, Mihawk is his best friend, Boa Hancock was the daughter of a friend, Jinbei was a friend of Crocodiles father and Doflamingo my be weird but loyal and since him and Crocodile met as children, they've also been friends ever since. They even had some Marines on their side and any time he had a meeting or had to call all the allies he realizes how many there actually are.
Sengoku was currently informing them of the emperors latest moves when Crocodile's mini Den Den rang. Sengoku gave him a stern look that he returned with an eyeroll while pulling out the Den Den. "What is it?" He asked and then there was a beat of silence while it sounded like the reciever had been passed around. Finally the rustling stopped "are you in a meeting?" A very annoyed Sabo said. Crocodile raised an eyebrow at the tone but hummed affirmingly. Sabo sighed and then there was a loud bang, a yell and laughs, Crocodile could practically see Sabo drop his head on the table "what was that...?" Mihawk asked cautiously and Sabo sighed again "all i can say right now is that we just got guests.." he said before there was another loud sound and the connection broke.
Crocodile only put it back away and continued to pay attention to Sengoku who stared with concern before finally continuing.
An hour later Crocodile, Mihawk, Hancock, Doflamingo, Jinbei and Kuma were stepping onto Kuraigana only to see smoke coming from the castle. Crocodile could feel exaustion pulling at him as they walked towards it "at least we'll finally meet your kid...?" Jinbei offered, making Crocodile smile softly.
Once they reached the castle there were already loud noise. Hancock went in first but immediantly stopped dead in her tracks, eyes wide. Crocodile moved next to her and followed her exact lead because the scene infront of the explained Sabo's exaustion. Luffy was sleeping on the lap of Charlotte Katakuri, Charlotte Pudding directly next to him, Ace was wrestling someone that looked suspisously like Yamato and Sabo was sitting on the nearst chair, banging his head against the table "..seems we found our visitors" Mihawk mumbled before heading towards Perona who was sitting next to Sabo, petting his head "what happened?" He asked her, kneeling down. Crocodile and Mihawk had been best friends for years now and it was still weird seeing him so soft with someone. "Well Big Mom and Kaido came here right after you left, dropped their kids off and left again.." she explained and Mihawk sighed "i'm gonna kill them.." Crocodile whispered.
Over the course of the next year more and more people introduced themselves to the kids. They got to know Sora, Corazon and a few others who had been living there, Boa brought her brother which caught Sabo of guard (it's not every day you meef such a dangerous person), the Whitebeards visited after Crocodile called them, the other revs showed up and Sabo ended up loving Iva and there were so many more and then....2 years after they had been taken away, a call reaches Dragon...
"Who is it?" He asked.
"Where are the kids?"
Dragon froze at the voice. Lucky this call reached him and not his husband "...what?" He asked, low but dangerous and Garp (that idiot) only repeated himself which made anger rise in Dragon "we..took them away..." Garp cut him off "you can't do that! Makino is also gone! Was that your doing too? This must've been recent so give them back!" He yelled but Dragon just kept his eyes closed "...Two years ago" he finally finished, making his father stop dead in his tracks "HUH?!" was all he got before he sighed "it's sad you didn't notice..." he said before hanging up and cutting his father off.
That felt good.
Dragon was so excited for the day Luffy would make Gray hairs blossom on his fathers head. It will be great!
