Summary
Ghosts were meant to stay dead. Forgotten. Remaining eternally in the shadows.
Most would prefer to never rise again and that suited her. She'd been a ghost for so long she'd forgotten what it was like to exist in the light. Now, at long last, she welcomes the end with open arms and a relieved smile.
Until someone decides otherwise. That the world is not quite done with her.
Folded against her will into an elite taskforce that operates more like a family than a secret unit, she must confront all that was buried long ago and decide what road to take.
Two ghosts now walk together, understanding more than either will say, slowly coming to see that a light still remains.
