Summary
Four years at a college your dad “advised” you to attend has left you with bitter memories and a useless degree that’s slowly collecting dust, but at this point, you can no longer afford to keep living in the past. Working your ass off to save up money to move miles away from your toxic, financially draining parents and landing a stable job to independently support yourself, you’re more than elated at the opportunity to reclaim your life. Solo coffee dates and walks alone by the river in a new city all sound so promising. That is until your impossibly stubborn neighbor, Frank Castle, decides to make it his business to invade all the fragile boundaries you try to force up between the two of you. It first starts with impudent back and forth quips that eat away at your armor, beckoning you into the perilous thrall of his possession. Yet, unresolved anguish from back home has you reluctant to yield all control. Frank, however, is determined to make you fold, and he is nothing if not patient.
