Chapter Text
1 body discovery had turned into 2 body discoverys very quickly, now it was time to investigate.
‘Tenko died in one of the three rooms, the middle to be exact so maybe I should check the others’ Kokichi thought to himself as he wandered into the room on the right of the room where Tenko died. He looked around the side for a while before approaching the middle.
‘There' nothing in here so far. Strange’ Kokichi thought then he stepped on a plank and his whole world tilted, he fell forward and the plank he stood on rushed up to meet his head.
A sickening bang/crunch was all Kokichi was able to hear then everything went black for a minute and when Kokichi came too he was laying on the floor, or was he stood up, he couldn't tell and he lushed himself so he sat up. The whole world blurring in and out of focus while everything span around him. Then he smelt it, copper-like and iron smell hit him, he reached up to his head hand shaking violently and when he brought his hand back it was bloody ‘Fuck’ Kokichi thought to himself before he pushed himself off the floor so he could continue with his investigation.
Kokichi shakily managed to get to his feet, the world still spinning, he began to start walking but his movements were slow and uncoordinated he made it into the hallway before passing out again.
When he came too the second time, he could hear muffled voices above him and then he heard someone say “————dead?” ‘Oh shit they think im dead’ Kokichi thought then he did the only thing he was sure he could do. He threw his head up put on one of his signature grins and said with as much confidence he could muster “It's a lie.”
He managed to stumble to his feet and walk over to Maki and Shuichi everything going in and out of focus. “Hey shumai, killer girl, Whats up nee-hehehehe” Kokichi giggled slurring his words slightly.
“What do you want Kokichi” Maki stated bluntly.
“Nothinggggg makiiii just investigating like anyone” Kokichi slurred slightly giggling as his body swayed back and forward.
“Kokichi why are you bleeding?” Shuichi questioned looking at him but no sympathy showed in his eyes.
“Cause I was investigating then I fell through a floor board silly” Kokichi mumbled starting to feel more dizzy and his whole body started swaying more.
“You fell through the floorboard” Shuichi questioned again rasing his eyebrow as if he didnt belive him.
Kokichi stumbled slightly despite being stood still and grabbed the wall beside him before continuing “Yes shumai keep up silly I walked into the room on the right of were Tenko died and fell through the floorboard there”
“Intresting,” Shuichi noted the whole conversation down in his monopad before he started to walk away “Come on Maki lets go.”
Kokichi watched them go and he then stumbled towards the stairs hoping to get to the nearest bathroom so he could patch his head up. Kokichi used the wall to guide him so he didn’t fall down the stairs and then he began to walk down them feeling increasingly more dizzy as he did so.He walked down the next three flights with out falling.
He got to the ground floor eventually, then he stumbled towards the bathroom. His head pounded making him even more dizzy, it didn't help that the world kept fading out of existence and he had black spots around the edge of his vision.
He managed to make it to the bathroom without collapsing but immediately came face to face with another problem, this being the infamous Kaito Momota Luninary of the stars or whatever who was stood by the sink.
Kaito however noticed the small boy immediately ‘Lucky old me’ Kokichi thought, once again plastering on one of his signature grins. However, the way he was swaying and the blood still on his face gave away that he wasn't alright.
“Kokichi what the hell happened,” Kaito yelled basically looking a bit dumbfounded.
Kokichi winced at the yell his head pounding even more now and his knees buckled causing Kokichi to hit the floor.
“KOKICHI,” Kaito yelled again rushing over to the small boy, it was at that point where Kaito realised the small boy had a head injury that looked pretty bad.
Kaito gently lifted Kokichi up into his arms, with surprisingly no complaint from the latter, Kaito then placed him on the side of the sink. Kokichi jumped a bit at the sudden cold of the sink and Kaito just held him for a bit before getting ready to help treat him.
Kokichi watched Kaito work through half lidded eyes. Kaito worked surprisingly quickly and soon Kokichi was all bandaged and blood free, Kokichi the decided to jump down from the counter, ignoring the way he stumbled, and run out the room in all good time to as, as soon as he got out the bathroom the Monokuma announcement went off saying it was time for the trail.
‘Great’ Kokichi thought his head still pounding, he however still choose to run to the area while feeling like he was going to collapse any time soon.
They all started the trial soon enough...
