Boys in Love Doing Chores Together

Summary:

Alex is supposed to be doing laundry but Lance is in the way.

Clean Laundry

Work Text:

Alex was trying to beat the next level on his game when the dryer started singing to signal it was done, he was so engrossed in his game he jumped from where he was leaning against the dryer while waiting for it to finish. He put everything in the waiting laundry basket before propping the basket against his hip and heading to the bedroom. Lance was laying across the bed, playing on his phone when Alex entered the room, right where he wanted to dump out the laundry so he could fold it. Alex dumped the laundry on top of Lance, the other man so engrossed in is phone he didn’t even notice the older man coming into the room.

“What the hell. Rude.” Lance said, pushing the clothes off his face so he could glare up at Alex.

“I’m trying to do laundry but you’re in the way. Not my fault I’m doing chores and you’re not.”

“I’m sorry who did the dishes, put them away, then swept and mopped the kitchen?”

“Good boy for doing your chores. Do you want a gold star on your chart?” Alex said, smirking down at the other man who was still laying on the bed covered in clean clothes.

“You’re such an asshole.”

“Takes one to know one.” Alex laughed. Lance grabbed Alex’s arm, pulling his down on his was laying on the bed.

“Who’s laughing now?”

“Are you going to help me fold all these clothes or not?”

“Umm, not. Laundry is your chore. If you want a gold star on your chart you need to fold them all by yourself.”

“I hate you so much.” Alex sat up, just catching a shirt that was going to fall on the floor.

“I love you too.” Lance sat up, pressing a kiss against Alex’s lips.

“If you help me fold and put these clothes away the bed will be all cleaned off.” Alex said, lips still pressed against Lance’s. He could smell the scent of their laundry detergent lingering in the air, surrounding the two.

“Fine, but we’re sharing the gold star.” Lance pressed one more kiss against Alex’s lips before untangling himself from the laundry so he could help instead of being at the bottom of the pile.
