    The mission to rescue Katsuki was a success. Kirishima and Iida were able to successfully rescue Katsuki before the villains could do anything nefarious with him. Although as the crowd gathered round outside the ruins of Kamino ward, Katsuki couldn’t help but notice there was someone missing. Someone with green hair and green eyes with freckles.

    “Where’s Deku?” he asked the extras that had come to rescue him.

    Immediately, everyone’s once cheering mood had shifted abruptly. All the faces had become crestfallen and no one would look him in the eye.

    Katsuki’s eyes wandered from face to face. Kirishima, Shoto, Momo, Aizawa, even All Might. No one would look at him.

    “Where’s Deku?” he asked again with more force.

    This idea came to me after seeing a post on tik tok of katsuki holding Izuku after he died protecting Kota during the training camp arc.
