megumi's pov*
He's dead. I look down at the pink haired boy on the floor in front of me. I don't know when I started crying I just know there's warm tears rolling down my face. I quickly took my phone out of my pocket and called Gojo. “Hey you guys done yet?” He says the minute I call him you could hear the grin on his face. “ or,” he continued “did you need your dad to help?” I respond back quickly sobbing into the phone “Yuujis dead I-I don't know what to do please just hurry and come get him please.” I didn't realize until I opened my eyes again that Gojo was behind me. He flipped Yuuji over, surprised to see a hole where a heart should be. “God that's not good.” He said, shocked, I wasn't trying to but I just snapped at him. I wanted him helping Yuuji not staring at him. “No shit dumbass now can you fucking help him!” he just stared at me when I finished yelling “you really care for him huh?” He said more of a statement than a question. “Yeah I really do so please can you try and do something?” I pleaded “anything for you Megumi.” He said quietly.

I got out of the shower still miserable. I couldn't stop thinking about it, about him.
I dried and got dressed then tried to get some sleep, but it's like I can't breathe anymore knowing he's gone. It was late and I knew everyone else was asleep so I snuck into Itadori's room the first thing I see being all the pictures on the wall next to his bed pictures of him and Kugisaki pictures of him and me pictures of all of us and god he looked beautiful even in pictures he's always beautiful. I miss him so bad it's barely been a day and I already feel this bad. I start making my way out but before I leave before I can even think I take one of his hoodies and put it on then go to sleep.
*3rd person pov* (a week later)
Megumi was and looked tired. He hadn't been sleeping all week and it was taking a toll on him. Nobara however wasn't as upset of course she was sad because she enjoyed hanging out with Itadori and going shopping with him and making him carry all her bags even though that only happened a few times she had fun with him. As she and Megumi sat together, Kugisaki eventually brought it up. “fushiguro, are you okay? I know you might not be but I figured I should ask in case you wanted to talk about it.” She said gently “No. I'm really not.” Megumi responded quietly but honestly. “Do you want to talk about it?” She asked. And that was when he broke. Megumi told Kugisaki everything that happened with Yuuji. About how they were really becoming friends, about how he felt afraid he couldn't save him when they first met, about how he's afraid he's developed feelings for him and now he's just dead. Then before he could react Kugisaki hugged him not tight or forced just a hug that said I'm sorry you're feeling like that without saying it. Even though Megumi hated physical touch he let her because even though he would never admit it he needed that.

After yuuji died there was another first year brought in, worst of all gojo moved them into Yuuji's room or what was Yuuji's room. Either way the only reason I didn't pick a fight with gojo when yuuji was there was because I liked him and wanted him there. I don't want this girl here. Her name is Kagami. I haven't met her yet but I don't really care.

I get a knock on my door and when I open it it's gojo and a strangely familiar face. Kagami Shitsuko I knew I recognized that name. I beat her brother up in middle school. The other kagami they both were annoying but I never hurt the girl. I'm smarter than that. “You look tired” gojo says “i wonder why.” I responded coldly. “Sorry to bother you but could you show poor kagami around?” he sounds sincere for once “cant Kugisaki?” I reply softer. I noticed that when I said that the girl looked upset, wonder what that's about, “do i even have a choice?” I ask “not really.” he tells me. “Fine but only because you asked me to.” I responded “thanks gumi! you really are the best.” he says cheerfully before walking off, probably to see geto. As he leaves I take a closer look at the short girl in front of me. She barely has any cursed energy; she's too weak to be here. I can't tell if I'm judging or mad that she's here and not yuuji, maybe both. God yuuji I miss him so much I miss his stupid pretty face and cute hair I miss his annoying laugh and confidence I miss him. And I love him so much I love him I love him I love him I love him. Shit I'm smiling I finally clear my head but wearing his sweater isn't helping. She must've noticed my obvious smile because she asked me if she looked weird and if that's why I was smiling like that “I would never smile at something that stupid.”I told her. As we walk down the hall I explain where everything is not even trying to hide my annoyance. As we were walking she started to say “hey megu-” “it's fushiguro” i corrected coldly “right um fushiguro um you look really good now you know.” “I don't really care.” “oh well I uh I still kinda like you.” She confessed “what?” I responded as I didn't know what else to say “will you be my boyfriend?”

*Yuuji's pov*(a week later)
I've been hiding with gojo for whatever reason. I don't know why he won't let me see megumi because I want nothing more than to see him right now. Until gojo came and told me a plan “so yeah you're gonna hide in a box and surprise them” he said “ wouldn't that freak them out?” I point out “yeah I don't really care you're doing it.” “Fine.”

Why do I have to do this dumb shit, I think to myself. As gojo opened up the box I knew I would have to pop out soon and when I did I instantly went and hugged megumi. I don't know why but I needed to hold him. In response I got punched on the top of my head but that's fine because at least it was from him. “Yuuji you asshole” he said sadly “I'm so sorry Megumi I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry.” He was crying, Megumi was crying softly, but he was. I softly wiped the tears off his cheek and hugged him tighter. He was blushing so hard it was adorable. “What the fuck” Kugisaki said “gojo you and yuuji have alot of explaining to do.” She said obviously freaked out. “We couldn't have anyone knowing about him, especially the elders so not even you guys could know.” Gojo said way too happily. Kugisaki hugged me tightly. “I missed you dumb ass. I was enjoying the moment finally being with my friends again until this random girl came and pushed me. “Stay away from my boyfriend.” She said angrily “boyfriend?” I ask her “no for the last time kagami I'm not your boyfriend.” He pulled me closer to him as he said that. I look over at Kugisaki who's clearly mad at me but seems to be enjoying the drama. What the fuck is happening right now, I think. “Why are you lying megumi you know you love me.” She states “I really don't, actually, I hate you.” he tells her

When I went back to my room. It was locked but I just opened it with my key. When I opened it my room looked completely different and then I saw her. Kagami is in my room “so your yuuji huh?” She asks “It's Itadori, and why are you in my room?” I don't want to talk to her so I get straight to the point “because you died i came here so now i live here. Oh and you need to stop talking to my Megumi freak.” “your megumi?” i repeat “yeah hes mine and hes straight so he doesn't want a faggot like you.” She said harshly. I'm not staying here,I throw the keys in there and walk out “bitch” I mumble. As I was walking to see gojo to ask why the fuck some bitch was in my room someone pulled me. As I looked behind me it was Megumi pulling me into his room. He wrapped his arms around me and I hugged him back.
*megumi's pov*
I heard everything that was said next door but I didn't know what to do except pray yuuji won't believe her. He started walking down the hallway probably to fight with gojo about it but I need him right now so I was stupid and I pulled him into my room and just threw myself onto him. I expected him to push me or yell at me but he just held me even tighter. “Why didn't you tell me when you first came back? Why weren't you with me" I say quietly, resting my face on his neck “I didn't have a choice Megs. I wanted nothing more than to be with you but Gojo wouldn't let me.” then I asked the stupidest question ever “could you stay here for tonight?” “You really want me too? Because I will but if you need space I can find somewhere else.” He nervously says “yuuji” “yeah?” “I don't need space okay? All I need right now is to be with you.” he kissed my neck and said “then I guess I'll be staying here.” I ended up laying on him with my ear to his chest and a hand on his stupidly hot abs “megumi?” “hm?” “Could I stay here tomorrow too?” “Mhm” he quietly giggled god I love when he does that. I move up and kiss his neck “now we're even.” He was blushing so hard it was adorable “you sure we're even” before I could say anything he kissed me on the lips. All I could do was kiss him back before he stopped “looks like we aren't even anymore.” “You sure?” I kissed him even harder this time I felt him melt into me. He let out a soft groan, a perfect opportunity for me. I let my tongue explore his mouth and he was doing the same. Before I knew it he sat up and I was in his lap. I slid my hands up his shirt feeling his body. I didn't know how to stop kissing him so I didn't and neither did he. He was holding me by my waist gently but possessive. He laid back down, taking me with him. I had a hand in his hair and my head was on his chest when Kagami knocked on the door. “Megumi?” “Ugh yuuji can you please get that i dont want to talk to her” i ask “fine but only because you, Megumi asked me to and i love you.” He said getting up and opening the door. “ Megs is sleeping right now. He also told me he doesn't want you calling him megumi since it's weird, but is there anything you need?” He rambled, “Itadori didn't I tell you to back off of my man.” She said, frustrated, “Do you need something?” Yuuji said in a tone I've never heard before he sounded genuinely annoyed and angry and cold all at once it scared me in a way I couldn't explain “ugh im not dealing with this just let me in so i can see megu” she said trying to push the door open but Yuuji was holding it. When she used all her body weight to try and open the door, Yuuji slammed it in her face “bitch” Yuuji came back to the bed, climbed in and laid next to me and kissed my head. “I love you.” he whispered
*3rd person pov*
Kagami walked to the common room where Gojo Kugisaki and Maki were. “Don't you guys think Itadori and Megumi have been spending a lot of time together lately?” She asked “well yeah but can you really blame them?” Kugisaki answered, “I've been spending as much time as I can with him too. We all missed him.” She said “yeah I would be spending a lot of time with him too if he was my best friend.” Maki added, “yeah but they're in the same room like Itadori is sleeping in Megumi's room.” Kagami added “ So? They did that all the time. I'm not really getting your point right now.” Kugisaki said “ I'm just saying to look out for how close they are. I'm going back to bed.” She said exiting “bye” , Kugisaki said.

*Yuuji's pov*
I can't believe I just kissed Him. I love him so much I can't breathe. He's been laying on my chest for 10 minutes now every once in a while he'll plant a soft kiss on my chest. I run my hand through his hair while he holds onto my waist. “Tired?” I ask quietly “mhm” I kiss his head and fall asleep. When I woke up Megumi was already awake “morning” he softly said “good morning” i said back kissing his forehead “are you going to come with us today? we're going out since there's nothing to do today.” I ask “who's us?” “Me Nobara maki gojo and I think kagami but I don't really know and of course you if you come.” I tell him “ok I'll come I've honestly been wanting to do this again with you and Kugisaki so it should be fun.” “We should probably be getting ready. I was told we're getting breakfast at a diner." I say not wanting to get up "I guess” he says as he sits up i just now notice “is that my hoodie?” I ask “yeah” he said flustered “you're actually adorable.” I kiss his cheek and get up “they put your stuff in boxes next door if you want to try and find your clothes.” He tells me “ok.” When I walk out I expect to be alone but he comes with me to help me. When I find something nice to wear I go back with him to change because the room with my stuff oddly has no door. As I walk back into his room I get a text from Kugisaki: Evil woman🔨 : you guys better be getting ready we leave in 20 Me: we are. “We're leaving in 20 minutes” i tell him “m'kay” he responds as i start getting changed i notice him staring “are you going to get ready or are you going to keep staring at me?” I ask laughing. “Shut up.” He says flustered.

Once everyone was ready we finally headed to the diner. As we were walking, Megumi and I were holding hands and walking with Kugisaki and Maki “how much further?” Kugisaki asked. Megumi checked his phone and answered “like 10 minutes.” “Ugh that's so far” Kugisaki whined “you're the one who wanted to walk plus it's not that far.” I said “that's not fair though you're a boy!” She said, defending herself “I thought women were stronger than men?” Megumi said “whatever.” She said defeated. We kept walking and Megumi and I were talking and laughing when Kagami tried to push me.
*megumi's pov*
Yuuji was talking and making stupid remarks about everything. It was honestly pretty funny. I was having a good day and I was just laughing at all his stupid jokes, not crazy laughing but I was. Then all of a sudden he stopped and I looked behind him and there was kagami. “How much longer?” she asked, trying to get closer to me. “Don't know.” I said “could you please check?” She asked, putting her hand on my shoulder. I moved away and told her to ask someone else.

We go inside the diner and get a booth “do you wanna sit next to me?” Yuuji asked, “actually he's sitting next to me.” Kagami said, making everyone stare at her. “Did Megumi agree to that?” Kugisaki said annoyed that Kagami was messing with her friends “he didn't have to, I know he wants to be next to me.” She said confidently “well that sucks because we already agreed on where we're sitting and you're not next to him.” Kugisaki told her “well then change it.”She said “No.” Kugisaki ended the argument. When we sat down our side was maki on the inside then Kugisaki then Yuuji then me. On the other side was gojo then geto who came very last minute then kagami. We were all talking and having a good time I kept getting teased for laughing but I didn't mind.

After we finished we paid and left. We all decided to split up with gojo and geto together Kugisaki and maki and me and yuuji. Or it was supposed to be me and Yuuji but of course kagami came with us. We decided to go to the movies to watch the new Spiderman movie which as expected we both loved. We ended up in a small store with jewelry and Keychains so Yuuji and I got matching bracelets and also bought three other bracelets for me, him, and Kugisaki. “So can I get my bracelet?” Kagami asked, “what are you talking about?” I asked in return “you know the bracelets we just got where’s mine?” she asked again. Yuuji started laughing “you thought we got you a bracelet?” He asked laughing “well yeah why else would there be 3?” “For Nobara,” he said, still laughing.

*Yuuji's pov*
After hours the sun set and we all met up again to walk back to campus. We were all talking and giving each other things. We were all laughing at the dumbest things, especially Megumi. He is just beautiful when he laughs. “Is something funny?” Kagami asked “yeah me.” I responded. “Itadori I told you to stay away from MY BOYFRIEND!” she yelled, making everyone stop to see what was happening “HE'S NOT YOURS HE'S MINE IM THE ONLY ONE WHO SHOULD BE MAKING HIM LAUGH IS ME!” She yelled at me. “I'm not your fucking boyfriend kagami your just saying that because your jealous of Yuuji.” Megumi snapped. I looked over at Megumi who was obviously pissed. I grabbed his hand and walked ahead

We were half way there when I started getting tired. “Tired?” I heard Megumi say “yeah a bit.” “Want me to carry you?” “Sure” I jumped on his back and rested my head on his shoulder “your light.” I heard Megumi say “you're just strong” I said and kissed his cheek not really caring that we weren't alone or that we technically aren't dating i just wanted to kiss him. “Awww so cute!” Kugisaki yelled from behind us I just laughed, “IT'S NOT CUTE HE JUST KISSED MY BOYFRIEND!” Kagami yelled “if he was your boyfriend would he be taking care of Yuuji like that? Like if he really is your boyfriend why is he letting another man kiss him?” Maki said annoyed by Kagami. “Alright I've let this go on for long enough.” Gojo spoke up “Kagami Megumi is not your boyfriend so there's nothing you can do about him and Yuuji. You can't fight with everyone just because you don't like that he's dating Yuuji.” I looked and saw Megumi blushing “are you blushing? Is the Megumi fushiguro blushing?” I said “shut up.” He said
*megumi's pov*
I sat down in the common room with everyone else, sitting next to Yuuji and Kugisaki “we should have a movie night together just the three of us” Kugisaki said “we should!” Yuuji said excitedly “ok” I agreed

After we went to the store for candy drinks and snacks we went to my room since I have a DVD player. “What should we watch first?” Yuuji asked “whatever’s there” Kugisaki said. Yuuji put a movie on and we all sat together to watch it

5 movies later and way too much candy Kugisaki got sick and threw up “I told you guys not to eat that much candy!” I said from the other side of the door while yuuji held her hair since I didn't want to be in the bathroom while she was throwing up because I have emetophobia. “You had like 3 monsters shut the fuck up!” Yuuji said from inside. I gave Kugisaki water to drink and took her to her room running into maki on the way. “What happened?” She asked looking at her clearly sick girlfriend “she ate 4 bags of candy.” I told her “of course she did,” Maki said. I let maki take Kugisaki and went back to my room “took you long enough.” Yuuji said “I was actually helping my friend unlike you.” I replied “come here.” “What do you think I was doing?” I say and lay next to him. “I love you.” he said like it was the simplest thing in the world. “Yuuji?” “Hm?” “Why is it so easy for you to just say that?” “Because it's true and I really do love you so much your all i have.” “I love you too Yuuji.” I say holding him close to me. “Megs?” “Yeah?” “Is this like homosexual or are we just bros?” He said holding in a laugh "not sure Yuuji im feeling very straight right now.” I said sarcastically “damn that's low-key crazy cause like me too for real” he said as we both started laughing.

I have made the worst decision of my life. Yuuji asked if we should watch more movies and my dumb ass said yes leading to more candy and drinks and I feel insane. I've never had this much sugar in my life. It was late, I was tired, I had too much caffeine, too much sugar and so did Yuuji. Yuuji is bad enough without sugar with it hes a fucking mess I mean hes just crazy. He's saying some dumb shit and it's not even funny so why am I laughing stop laughing. He won't stop with these dumb jokes and I keep laughing. I've never laughed this loud before or this hard. I was crying laughing. Until he said one last joke and we both laughed so loud I'm pretty sure Kugisaki could hear it. “Yo megs, why did the chicken cross the road?” “Why?” “I don't know, I drove past it.”
*third person pov*
Megumi and Yuuji were laughing so loud Kugisaki and Maki could hear it so of course kagami, gojo,panda,and inumaki could hear them. Though they only really heard megumi at first. “Who is laughing like that?” Kagami said to everyone in the common room. “kelp?” Inumaki said “I've never heard that laugh. Before but it's probably yuuji he's loud.” kagami said almost like she was reassuring herself. Kugisaki and Maki made their way over to the common room after hearing it. “No yuuji giggles that can't be him. so it has to be Megumi.” “No it can't. I know my megs best, it has to be yuuji” right after kagami said that everyone heard a loud giggle clearly from yuuji. “Yeah that was definitely Megumi though I've never heard him laugh that loud.” Gojo said “salmon,” Inumaki said “speaking of ‘your megs’ kagami why don't we have a talk outside?” Gojo said “o-of course” she said. The cool breeze hit Kagami's face almost as hard as Gojo's words. “I'm saying this as your teacher and Megumi's legal guardian, you need to accept that megumi doesn't want you.” “but-” “no if you keep this up I'll have no choice but to expel you. I brought you here because you proved you had strength and determination to do even better but you have been proving to me that you're too determined to do things that are irrelevant.” “i-i understand" she said quietly “good you can go back to your room now.” Gojo walked back in as kagami left. As he sat down he heard a loud thud and more laughing.
*Yuuji's pov*
Megumi just fell off the fucking bed which made trying to stop laughing so much harder “you dumb ass are you okay” i ask laughing “yeah.” He said laughing even more. “You sure you don't need me to kiss it better?” I asked finally calmed down. “No please do it hurts so bad, you see I was confused from the pain.” He said calmer “your adorable” i said and kissed his head “i love you” “your so pretty when you say that yuuji” “im pretty?” “Yes very” “you're beautiful.” “shut up” he said flustered “i love you too Yuuji so much” he said cupping my face in his hands. He kissed me passionately pulling me closer to him. I ran a hand through his hair and held him by his waist. He climbed into my lap kissing me more. I lifted his shirt up feeling his body. I let my hands go down more to his legs pulling him closer. He broke the kiss only to go straight for my neck. “Megs” “yeah?” A-are you trying to uh…"" only if you want to we don't have to if you do-""i do.”

I woke up with Yuuji cuddled up to me, his bare skin warm on mine. I kiss the top of his head and fully take in what happened last night. “You're hot for someone as boring as you.” I heard a raspy voice say I look and there was a mouth on Yuuji's cheek. I shut it with my thumb not wanting to hurt yuuji “what not a fan of after sex compliments?” “Or is it just because it's me?” A mouth opened on his hand “ i hate you so much” i whisper closing that one too. “mh Babe…?” I heard yuuji say yawning “‘babe?’” I question “dont like it?” He asked, “I never said that,” I answered. He moved closer to me nuzzling his head in the crook of my neck as I held him. “We should probably be getting dressed huh.” Yuuji said “probably” I replied “pretty sure we're not going on a mission today but apparently there's some sort of new café Nobara wants us to go to with her if you want to come.” He informed me. “It'll just be us and probably inumaki and okkotsu” he explained “I'll go if you go.” I say
