Summary
It's only been a few weeks since Jean's death, but the X-Men are still reeling from the fallout. Charles enlists Gambit's help with bringing Scott back from the brink of his despair, unaware that the Phoenix force has found itself a new host in the grieving X-Man. As Scott's powers grow and change, altering his personality the X-Men are forced to deal with the possibility of the Phoenix's return, not to mention the growing strain on their relationship as new challenges threaten their bonds.
