"No, Ruskin. I will tell you this one more time. You will not drag me to the doctor to have an X-ray of my body."
Ruskin rolled his eyes. He was in this fight with his employer, Charles Augustus Milverton ever since the other man realized that completing the medical examination required that. But no matter how much Mr. Milverton opposed, Ruskin knew that it was necessary. He had no idea why his employer was so scared of X-ray, but this didn't stop him from making him go through it - even if with force.
"And I will tell you this one more time, sir. You gave me free control of your health checks once." He reminded Mr. Milverton. "Which means that if I ask you to go through the x-ray examination, then you will not complain, just nod."
From the sparks in the golden eyes, he expected that his employer would change tactics, and he was right.
"I thought that you love me, Ruskin." He said bitterly. "You know that X-ray causes cancer. Do you want to see me dead that much?"
Ruskin shook his head.
"No, sir. The small amounts of radiation which your body will get and which is well-monitored by the doctor will not give you cancer. May I remind you that it was you who spread this misinformation online to scare people? You can't fall for your own propaganda."
Hearing that his attempt failed, Mr. Milverton let out a sigh.
"Fine. But don't let the doctor show me the results." He asked and there was a hint of begging in his voice. "I don't want to see what is inside me."
Ruskin hid his smile. He was sure that this was what was actually behind his employer's fear. He was not surprised by that. Mr. Milverton also didn't take well when he saw his own blood.
"Alright, sir. I will check it instead of you." He gave in quickly. Unlike Mr. Milverton, he was always strangely turned on when he saw the x-ray of his lover.
