Summary
The SSR does not exist. Everyone knows that. So when SSR Agent Bucky Barnes wakes up in the back of a van handcuffed to a not-quite stranger after a mission gone wrong, he has to question his life choices up until that point. If he'd been working for the government he's sure they would have sent an extraction team. If he'd been working for the military they'd never leave a man behind. But since he works for the SSR, which on paper does not exist, all he has is his wits, The Arm, and, well... a tiny Steve Rogers full of vitriol and saltier than the ocean, the innocent bystander to whom he is unfortunately handcuffed after a bad case of mistaken identity.
Chased by Hydra agents and hobbled by their own inability to get along, all Bucky wants to do is get this damn StarkTech cuff off so that he doesn't have to listen to Steve's bellyaching for one second longer than necessary. So begins A Grand Adventure featuring a badly-timed triple shot venti iced caramel macchiato, crustacean semaphore, Monty Python references, Injudiciously Applied Goon Logic and all the salt you can eat. Should be fun, right?
