Summary
Kagami hadn't really expected it, but he couldn't claim to be surprised when he was told he'd been chosen. One of Madara's conditions for their newfound peace with the Senju, and the establishment of this united village Hashirama Senju had proposed, was a marriage contract between the Senju clan and the Uchiha. Tobirama Senju, the younger brother of the Senju clan head, was the only unmated, unpromised option left high in the ranks of their clan, which meant the Uchiha had sought a mate to promise him, preferably an omega. With Izuna dead, they had no shinobi of equal standing to offer - Kagami's power made him the obvious choice, in the absence of clan standing.
Tobirama proves to be an . . . aggravating prospect, but Kagami is determined to make this work, despite the alpha's deep reservations.
