Summary
Jungkook looks just as surprised to see him, although his expression barely gives it away.
Then Jimin notices what’s sitting on the counter.
A pack of cigarettes.
“That’s gonna kill you.”
The words leave his mouth before he can reel them in. His mouth always moves faster than his mind. In times like these, it’s not favourable, especially now that he has the alpha’s full attention.
Jungkook looks at the pack of cigarettes, then back at Jimin.
One eyebrow lifts.
“You never used to smoke.”
Jimin realises what he just said a second too late. But he can’t take it back now. Instead, he clears his throat, trying to save face.
“I—”
Jungkook’s mouth twitches. “A lot’s changed since you’ve been gone, darlin’.”
Or:
Jimin left Roswell at nineteen with a degree to earn, a life to build, and every intention of never looking back.
Five years later, he's back and so is everything he thought he'd left behind.
