Tony had been told he was on the cusp of coming online. Both bought with the plague and just recently with Kate’s death. There were those at the Center who tried to forbid him from coming back to work, but if Brad couldn’t keep him back, they sure couldn’t.
He knew that Gibbs was also just under the mark and had gone silent when his wife and child had been killed, yet not yet dormant. What drove him so much was his Sentinel Drive as much as his need to get the scumbags off the streets to protect those other families who were like his.
Tony had always been able to “Feel” Gibbs when he was around the building or in the area they were working in, so he knew the man was nearby when the elevator opens to let a female in desert camo gear out without escort to come straight to their area. He hit his intruder alert button under his desk as she didn’t even have the Visitor’s badge on her, and he had felt she was bad news as he suddenly came online. His ancient desert lion standing before her as a solid being and roaring in her face before swiping his psionic claw from his right paw through her from her left shoulder down across her chest and stomach to her hip and taking her down in pain.
The sound of the roar bringing every agent on the floor up to witness the exchange and bring out their own weapons to bear on her as she lay in pain on the floor from the attack from an ancient desert lion who now stood over her as though daring her to move. Tony’s own weapon on her as a strange female came out of the elevator with Gibbs at the same time as the security personnel came charging out of the stairs. Seems Gibbs was using the elevator to talk to the strange woman in private.
The strange woman in kitten clothes and heals as though she was another trying to get into Gibbs’ bed was now screeching about what was going on and for everyone to put their weapons down. Tony just looked at Gibbs who shrugged and said she was the new director.
The intruder on the floor groaned and moved. Tony’s lion, Atreides, growled and she stiffened. “They both feel as though they are complicit in murder.” Tony told everyone on the floor while looking at Gibbs.
At that, the new supposed director called him a liar and demanded security arrest him and shoot the damned lion. With that all weapons were trained on her as everyone knew he was a Spirit Guide and with the threat to him Gibbs came back online, smelled the deceit on both of them and tackled the woman in kitten clothes that had obviously wanted to be under him, just not that way. Cuffed her as she was screaming and yelled out to arrest the bitch under Tony’s lion as both of them were lying about being part of a murder.
One of the security members called out that the woman under the lion claimed to be there from the Israeli Embassy about their problem with the assassination of Todd. Her job was to aid them in his capture though she had said he was innocent.
Tony just put his hand on Atreides to get him to back off so security could cuff the lying bitch. Her first words, now that she was free, were that he would hear from her father, the head of Mossad.
He ignored her as he picked up his landline to make things official. Called an emergency number to get straight through to the important person he wanted. While he waited for the person to come to the line, he asked Gibbs if the bitch smelled anything like Ari. Like she was related to him in some way. If so, that meant the bastard was the son of the head of Mossad and the son of the head of Mossad tried to assassinate the President of their Nation and the Prime Minister of Israel not that long ago.
Gibbs growled low as a Siberian Tiger appeared to menace her along with Tony’s Lion. Tony took that for a yes and told the person on the other end of the line when they came to the phone. Nodded at his orders and handed the phone to the head of security who stood at attention after hearing who was on the other end. Yes, sirred several times and handed Tony the phone to hang up as he grabbed the bitches to take down to be processed and await to be taken away to be properly questioned by those above everyone’s paychecks.
The female from Mossad yelled that her father would hear of this. Tony just quoted from a favorite book turned movie: “When religion and politics travel in the same cart, the riders believe nothing can stand in their way. Their movements become headlong - faster and faster and faster. They put aside all thoughts of obstacles and forget the precipice does not show itself to the man in a blind rush until it's too late.” Then looked at Gibbs and told everyone that the “Sleepers Had Awoken. God help those who got in their way as they wouldn’t forgive them.”
The call he made? Straight call through to call in the debt owed from the Commander and Chief who was now sending in people to interrogate the two about the plot to assassinate him and anything else they might be involved in.
The fact that the same man was even now calling the Prime Minister of Israel to tell him of Eli Dav'id’s plot to assassinate him as well….
Above Tony’s pay grade at the moment.
