Poem - Wishing for a dream

Summary:

I close my eyes and wish to curl next to you.

Notes:

Apparently "promise" and "goddess" are a rhyme or a near-rhyme. As a non-native english speaker, I'm not entirely sure if that's the case, but I'm gonna trust that it is.

Work Text:

“Wishing for a dream”

My precious, little thing, my dearest star.
Today I find myself wishing for a dream.
My love for you, flowing clearly like a stream,
Reaching you and for you, no matter how far.

My heart is calling your name, it is craving your touch.
I wish to curl myself, my body, against you;
Your fingers on my back, my hair, sinking into
Them; holding, scratching, stroking - never too much.

Hear how stable you breathe against me,
Your voice when you murmur something;
I'd let out some calm, gentle humming,
Utterly content, being where I want to be.

To kiss your lips slowly; a chaste thing,
Delicate, unrushed and like a promise,
Or a prayer, sent straight to you, my goddess,
Because at the sight of you, my soul starts to sing.

To look into those deep, gorgeous eyes,
Be blessed by your smile, the real one;
That beautiful smile that leaves me undone.
My beautiful vixen, thanks to you, my heart flies.
