He grinned down at her, straight white teeth glowing like the moon outside. It was the most emotion she’d seen him show since- Well, probably since he’d been released from prison. He was normally so statuesque, so removed. But now, he was smiling like his favorite team had just won the World Cup. Except there was something about his eyes that unsettled her. Something hard. Something hungry.
“I’m just giving your poor, little cunt the treatment it deserves,” he said, grin sharpening.
