   “Don’t hesitate,” Scott demands, and brilliant green eyes plead with him. There’s— he’s afraid, but he’s not crying. Scott isn’t backing down, always so god damn stubborn, and even now it frustrates Abolish to no end.

   And yet Abolish can’t deny him this one last thing.

   There’s nothing left to be said, no time for one last kiss, no point in dragging this out. Scott has made him feel things he didn’t know he was capable of, he’s the only one who’s ever tempered and ignited the eternal fire of his soul, but it has to come to an end. For now.
