Susie jumped up, axe in hand, ready to strike at the Knight.
The Knight surprised by the sudden attack attempted to block her swing. She could not. Her axe rather than slicing, bashed into her face as it shattered her armor into pieces. It quickly morphed back a face. The face of a monstrous deer before it fell to the ground with a loud bang. Susie landed, sweat beading down her face. Upon seeing the impact, she felt she had bested the knight.
"Hell yeah. That shows you. Next time you wanna doom the world, you gotta think a little smarter."
She walked closer dragging her axe as her face morphed monstrously.
"Do you know what we do to bad guys who wanna ruin everything?"
The knight looked up and watched as the dragon raised her axe. She struck down with a loud thud. Susie closed her eyes but her axe felt odd.. it was like something bounced back. She opened them and realized a shield had just blocked her deadly strike. "Huh?!" she took a step back, surprised. "Kris!??!"
Kris looked down and back at the bent down Knight. It looked her dead in the eye as it spoke.
Kris pulled out a sword in defense for the Knight.
"Kris, what the hell?! you're working with it?!"
"Susie... just stop this. Go back home."
"No! Screw you. What the hell is going on!?"
Kris looked back ignoring Susie as they focused on their objective, they didn't want to face her after this betrayal.
The Knight looked on. "Do you still have it?"
The player was given a choice between Yes or No. It didn't matter because she could recognize that it was still in Kris.
"Its time." The knight said.
Before they could do anything, they heard a loud bang and they turned "WHY?!"
"Why Kris?! After all this time, all the adventures, everything!!! You're gonna turn your back on all of that. Ralsei, Me, everyone! for what?"
Kris looked down as a shadow covered their face. The Knight noticed this.
"Thats enough Susie. LEAVE! This doesn't concern you!"
"Oh hell yeah it does. Your dad Kris, Officer Undyne!! What the hell are you doing to them?"
"Doesn't matter. Even so- "
"WHY!?!"
"TO SAVE KRIS!!"
"Huh?! Kris?!"
"You don't get it do you?? Kris... they've been gone.. without a soul.. for a very long time..."
Susie stepped back. "What?"
"Kris has been dead Susie. They made a bad mistake and I have to correct it."
"Kris..." she looked at them as they looked away. "Why... why didn't you say anything? Why didn't you ask for help? We could've help Kris"
The Knight disrupted "You wouldn't like the outcome of what you'd have to do to "help Kris""
"What do you mean?"
"Susie..."
"TELL ME" she slammed her axe on the ground demanding to be respected. Kris felt a tear stream down their face.
"Susie... We have the soul but they're possessed. The person you've been talking to hasn't been the real Kris! Its been... hijacked. The only way for Kris to be freed is we need to remove the shackle and replace it with a new one..."
"The only way to create a new one... is by taking every soul in HomeTown and recreating a human SOUL and throwing the possessed one into a new world"
Susie stepped back. "E-even mine."
The Knight looked away "Yes... even yours. Everyone."
Susie looked away and looked back at Kris. She smiled. "So... Kris... this has been what you've been hiding about huh..." A tear streamed down her face before covering it up with her bangs.
"All this time... you've only cared about yourself... all this time... you've been lying to my face."
"Susie... go back ho-"
"I DON'T HAVE A HOME TO GO BACK TO ESPECIALLY WITH WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO DO!" She slammed her axe down again. "Screw you! If that means you're screwed, you're screwed. Sucks to be you buddy."
"You know that's not fair Susi-"
"Susie this, Susie that. What you're gonna baby me? Tell me to go back to my shitty mom and my shitty dad and wait out you sucking my SOUL"
"No FUCK that! You think I'm gonna watch and let you kill all my friends!! Huh Kris?!"
"They're not the victim here. They're also going to be sacrificed as well"
"WHAT!? then what's all this save Kris crap about??!"
The Knight looked solemnly "Kris... they've been right here.. all along" It pointed to its chest. "We share a body. Me and THEM."
"What? What about... what about Kris' Mom, their dad, Noelle!? Everyone?! Kris!! Are you insane?"
"All a necessary outcome that they've come to terms with already"
"You're not at least forced into this?"

"Yeah like you cared Mr. Knight! Why is Kris so important huh?"
"Because... I love them"
"You love them...?" The gears in Susie's head were starting to turn
"I don't want them to be sacrificed by something they can't even control. By mistake that was my own fault.. I messed it all up... I hurt Dess.. I-"
"Dess...?"
"None of that matters right now.."
"WAIT... you're... you're"
"Noelle.. yes. Noelle Holiday. That was my.... past life regrettably"
"NOELLE!!" She stood up shocked. The sweet Noelle. Her girlfriend. The one person who atleast treated her like a normal person.. she was the monster she was about to kill. Her guilt was starting to wane on her.
"What about us... Noelle..."
"Susie.."
"Forget about Kris. You can move on. There's dozens of fish at the sea."
"Some friend you are."
"Look who's talking. You barely spoke to Kris, now you "love them"?"
"Thats because I realized what they were going through. What they had to sacrifice. For everyone's happiness... Do YOU have any idea what they had to lose?"
"I don't care.. I'd do the same thing"
"You don't know what you're describing"
"So?! Again What about us?! What about all the times we spent together? What about getting out of hometown"
"Did you really think I cared about any of that Susie..."
She shook.
"Susie..." she chuckled a little bit at her helpless little past life "I never cared about any of that. You didn't even get what I was saying when I said I wanted to leave. You were fun Susie. A good friend... a great friend but..." She looked at Kris "There is someone more important I have to take care of... I'm sorry"
"Come on Kris.." The knight turned as Kris turned with them in shame.
That was the moment Susie realized.

She felt the whole world call her name. Calling her to save them all. Susie, even though downed, got up. She readied her axe and just as she was about to jump and swing at the knight.

"Stop it Susie... that's enough... Go home." The Knight had said before carrying Kris and floating away.
Susie... stumped and defeated watched as the dark fountain closed with Kris' input and watched as the dark world fade away.
They stood in Catti's room as she was already taken. There was no need to save her. Susie defeated, she got up as she limped. She didn't want to give up. She can't. Not with everyone depending on her.
She limped her way to the empty school. It was after school hours afterall. The door was still not locked. She dragged herself slowly to the entrance of her new home.
"Ralsei... he would know wnat to do..."
She opened the door. As the familiar darkness flooded the hall, she jumped in as she transformed back into her dark world attire.
Almost immediately something was off. Ralsei didn't stand at the entrance of Castle Town to greet her. Instead darkness stood. She walked in, worried. Did the Knight get to them too?
She walked in and noticed all of Castle Town was the same... but completely empty. No Lancer. No Rouls Karrd. No one.
She walked all over asking for names but nobody came.
She walked into the only place she knew Ralsei would be in. The entrance to his castle.
The glow of the cauldron shined the shape of Ralsei.
"Ralsei, hey! We have to stop them. Kris... they"
"I know, Susie."
"Y-You saw.."
"No. I just know. Susie.."
"Yeah Ralsei.."
"Go home. Please. You don't need to be here to see this..."
"Ralsei... NO I... I can't. I can't let everyone die. I... I have to save everyone!"
"Susie.." Ralsei shook as he looked down.
"Ralsei... I need you.. we all need to work together and stop the Knight. Stop Noelle!!"
She stepped closer to Ralsei.
"Susie... stay back... I don't if I will... if I want you to..."
"Ralsei.. whats wrong.. please tell me"
"Susie... you don't what you're facing. I got this. I can do this.."
"RALSEI not on your own" she stepped closer, ready to grab them and shake them out of this funk
"Let me help you. We can SAVE everyone"
"Susie..." she took a step closer but before she could pull in to hug Ralsei, their friend turned.
"Susie."
She took a step back... horrified at the sight. "What.. what did you do to Ralsei"
It chuckled. "Susie. I told you to go home. Stay away. Accept the fate thats been given to you. I guess you really are like me huh"
Susie dropped down mortified.
"I was... Ralsei... atleast that was the role given to me... unfortunately, that IS NOT my name. My TRUE name"
She blinked.
"My name is Sariel. I am the "prince of the dark" you can take it as is but that is what I am. That is what I chose to be. Without influence from... my creator..." it looked away.
"That doesn't matter now Susie. You simply CHOSE not to accept my offer of FREEDOM."
"Yeah. I wanna help everyone"
"Help...? Hmph. I know just the way to do it but you MUST accept my offer."
"Your offer?"
"Let me help you up" He waved his hand picking up Susie before placing her down. "You see Susie. I came to an epihany. I thought that my life was worthless. That I could not change the FATE that was beholden to me. That tragedy was going to strike no matter what I do. That the world was going to end no matter what I do or think.."
"but Kris... made me realize something. I can be whoever I want to be. I can do whatever I want to do. I can be anything. I can do anything. Kris. Kris..."
"Their power is astronomical you have no idea, what their SOUL contains. What we can achieve with that SOUL. You see Susie. I want you to do something for me. In order for my fate to be broken, to change the world, to save everyone..."
He floated close to Susie. "You must start the roaring"
"What?!! but wouldn't that end the world"
He looked away "A miscalculation. An error or rather...." it stared straight at her. "A lie... propagated by my selfish master. A master that I will no longer call my own. The Roaring does NOT cause the end of the world. It SAVES it"
"By creating a dark fountain and launching the titans, it will preserve everyone and everything. Your friends will always be together. Safe!"
"What about Kris?! You know about what happened to them?"
"Yes I do know about their... circumstances... but they will preserved as well. They will not need a new SOUL."
"Everyone... will be ok?"
"Yes. Susie, everyone, including you, will be preserved."
She looked down and after some deliberation then stared into his eye. "Are you sure this isn't some trick?"
"Trick or not, what do you have to lose Susie? If you leave here now, you will never return, and you will proceed on your way to your role as a vessel for Kris. A body bag waiting to be devoured by an uncaring knight. Do YOU really want that?"
She looked down. "No."
"Good."
"What do I need to do?"
"Take your axe. Hold it high up into the air... and strike it down with your WILL in your heart. With everyone's hearts."
She stood straight, straighter than she ever been in her entire life. As she raised the axe above her head.
"Do you acknowledge the possibility of pain and seizure?"
Susie opened her eyes as a blue glow shined within her eyes.
"Yes."
"Understood."
Susie strikes down on the earth.
"Thank you for your time, Dragon. Your wonderful creation will now be"
