Summary
Sergio was a bullfighter in his prime, an alpha at the peak of his virility, a man of action not at all prone to bouts of melancholia. And yet a strange chain of events had broken something inside him, and even after he had gathered the pieces scattered in the sand and put them back together, gaps lingered where the smallest shards had been lost forever. A black bull’s horn had ripped his skin open; everything inside him had nearly spilled out. Months later, he had been scrutinized by the startled gaze of an omega, and suddenly there was no pain, no tear in his flesh. He felt whole again.
Or: Sergio hits rock bottom, mounts the sky, falls in love. He is in a cul-de-sac, not alone in the dark; he prays, he kneels, he's patient and restless. He waits a porta gayola.
