Summary
You had heard a lot about this particular area, especially after you informed your friends of your plans to move here. And it got even worse once you showed them the actual location of the new apartment. They practically berated you for considering, and then ultimately buying a place in this area. To them, all of it just screamed danger.
Well, not only to them. It did intimidate you too, quite a bit for sure, but the rent was cheap, the space was decent and it wasn’t too far of a walk from the subway line towards your university campus. You just had to say yes, despite everybody and their mother’s concerns. And until now everything had gone smoothly – except for the occasional creep that you managed to evade.
That said, everything went well until today.
