   Summary

A loud splash startles Ilya, and he looks up. There’s a seal watching him from about six meters out in the water. He’d always thought seals lived in the ocean, but he didn’t think birds could howl either, so what does he know. It looks like it’s watching him.

   He nods to the seal.

   The seal nods back.

   Okay. Canada is strange.
