    Lumine looked up. Dark clouds had gathered beyond the treeline and spread over the mountains. The last patches of sunlight had disappeared, and the world stretched ahead of them in a blur of white and gray. "Um, Alyosha…?"

    Alyosha stopped walking, Tugarin by his side. "Yes, Traveler?"

    She raised her voice over the wind. "I think the weather took a turn for the worse."

    He glanced upward. "Shit. It's going to get worse from here. We're going back to Sretomorozsk. Now."

    Or, Alyosha and Lumine take refuge in his house as a blizzard rages. Staying close keeps the cold away.
