    Summary

Just as he’d feared, what’s inside can barely be classified as a creature. It’s more a lumpy pulsating mass of flesh and limbs, vaguely the size of an infant, though that’s where the similarities stop. It has three arms and two feet sticking out at unnatural angles, and while this one thankfully doesn’t have a dozen eyes judgmentally staring at him, it does have a mouth set right in the middle of its abdomen whose only purpose, apparently, is to scream.

(Or: Bryan experiences the highs and lows of fatherhood with something a little less than human)
