Summary
Remi and Maria's arguments can get ugly, but their good outweighs their bad in so many ways. They’re beautiful. They’re wonderful. They care. In all of his twenty-two years of life, Jasper has never felt a love like Remi and Maria’s. It’s just so much. It fills up his hollow, lonely insides and spills over like syrup.
It does not, however, drown out the ghosts.
He really wishes it did. It would just make this so much simpler. Why can't it be simple? Why can't he have this?
He wants this.
~*~
Or, after Hexatombe, Jasper falls into a relationship with Remi and Maria that is more tumultuous than he would care to admit. As he grapples with the difference between a want and a need, he tries his best to do something that will right the situation and be good for all three of them.
(But there is a twisted thing inside of him, one that is ugly and strange and confusing. He tries not to look at it.)
