Guy Diamond has been feeling pretty weird lately. He's been sick, hungry, sad, mad, excited, everything he could possibly feel. His belly has been getting huge too, which he thinks is just weight gain from all the eating.
One day, he wakes up in the middle of the night, his midsection throbbing in pain. "Oohh... Oow... Ouch.. Ghh.." He clutches his stomach, feeling it tighten. "Ow ow ow... Oooaah... Ooooh... Ohh..." He groans as he tries to get up, but the pain is so bad he can barely move.
He begins to cry and whimper as the pain gets worse. "Oooowhh... Ow... Ow.... Ugh..." He curls into himself "Haah... Uuuugh... Ooowhh... Ow.. Ow... Ow.... Mmfh..." Suddenly, he feels the worst cramp yet, his belly tightens so much he swears he could feel it twisting into a knot "Gaaaahh!! Ugh!! Nnngh!"
He tries to breathe through it, but it doesn't much, it only calms him down. He endures what feels like hours of agonizing pain. He feels like he's dying, but he can't call for help. Eventually, He starts to feel a weird sensation in his crotch, like it's splitting open. He looks down to see his genitals are out and he realizes his vaginal canal is opening.
Oh God... It all made sense now. He wasn't dying, he was giving birth.
Those words sounded crazy, even if he's done it before. He took deep breaths, hoping his gut was right, but also hoping it was wrong at the same time.
He went on his hands and knees in a downward dog position, preparing for the next contraction. Once it came, he pushed hard. He sobbed in pain and unfortunately, nothing came out yet, but he was feeling something open up. He took a deep breath, pushed again, and this time, something crowned. "Hooohh god... Oohh my god..." He whimpered, realizing that he really was having a baby. "Hoookaay... Okay.. Stay calm, Guy Diamond... Stay calm..." He told himself before pushing once more. He let out a loud groan as he felt the head pushing halfway out. He was so close. "O-one more... Just one more..." He pushed again and the entire head was finally out.
He carefully repositioned himself and looked down between his legs. He saw it, he saw his baby. He started to cry as he saw it. He was so ready to meet this baby, even if he barely got to know it. He grabbed a small piece of cloth and held it below the baby's head before pushing one more time. The burning sensation was long and strong, and he let out a scream before the baby slid out into the cloth. He breathed in relief, then he heard the baby let out a loud cry. He looked down to see a healthy baby girl and he started sobbing right there. He trembled as he held the baby to his chest with the cloth on her. "Oohh... You're really here... You're in my arms right now... You're so beautiful..."
He rocked the baby gently and he wondered... How would his friends feel? How would his son feel? That didn't matter too much at the moment because he couldn't tell anybody now, but the thought still lingered. The baby started to calm down and He looked down at her. "Hello, sweetie... You just came at a wonderful time, didn't you?.." the baby whimpered softly before opening her eyes. She looked up at her dad, cooing happily. "Daaaww... Look at you... Daddy's starting to love you so much already..." He bounces his baby gently. "What should I name you?.. hmmm.. How about Little Diamond?... Maybe Lily, for short..." He chuckles softly "Yeah... Lily... That's a perfect name..." The baby giggles, clearly agreeing with the name.
Guy Diamond cleans up himself and the baby before heading to bed and getting the sleep he didn't get that night.
