Blue walked into the cafe, wings fluttering slowly and gently. He had just finished a morning practice for a recital coming up soon. It was rather best to get some food.
” Good morning, Green! “ Blue called out as he stepped in, the bell jingle signaling the butterfly’s arrival.
….
Silence.
” ..Green, dear? “
Green slowly walks out of their room, holding a can of.. something.
”Oh, what do you have?”
^Peppermint spray. Spider infestation.^ The chef signs.
WHAT.
Now, Blue was never afraid of any bugs. He was a butterfly after all! Any tiny little thing the bouquet said was scary or any of the sort, he would pick it up and coo at how cute it was. Wether it was a centipede.. a ladybug.. even a butterfly of his own!
but spiders.
Spiders.. God.
He had just seen one at the stage. Then it became two, then 4. Then 9. Then an entire army packed in one top corner.
He didn’t have a full reason as to why he didn’t like spiders. Just.. They bite. They kill.. They can easily make MORE spiders.. Just the thought of it creeps him out. There was NO way there was a spider infestation NOW. What would he do?? Would he get yellow? No, yellow didnt really like spiders either, but not as much as he did, Seth was obviously gonna be scared, it was 7 in the morning. Aqua would just try to EAT the spider, which is BAD. Orange would be scared. Of course. Then—
Then..
Blue is awoken from his spiral when the chef put their hand on his shoulder. “You.. okay?”
” Oh- Yes, dear.. I’m fine. How is the… cleaning up going? “
They signed a bit more; ^Few spiders gone, fewer eggs which is good. They’ll be gone soon, everyone knows.^
huh.. guess that’s why he hasn’t seen anyone in the cafe since.
” I do hope you’ll be okay with.. Them. “
