    Unbeknownst to their coworkers, Baran and Dana had history. History that they had both tried to forget, willing themselves to never see each other again, leave that part of their lives behind, and pretend the other doesn’t exist.

    The kind of history that the gossips in the hospital would love to get their hands on. They weren’t exes exactly, they had never really dated, it was just a way to blow off steam after their divorces. But it had gotten complicated. Feelings had gotten involved, and instead of addressing them like grown-ups, both women had devolved into messy, bitchy, confrontational brats. Needless to say, it hadn’t ended well.
