It slips out before Grace can stop himself. Rocky stops for a brief second, carapace tilting towards him intently. He wiggles slightly, it’s the ‘I’m watching you’ wiggle, and Grace puts his hands up in defense.
“Hey, you said it!" Grace defends himself, "Rocky Grace same!”
Rocky hums and goes back to work. Grace thinks maybe he got away with it.
“Grace tell Rocky how badly he wants Rocky touch.”
Oh. Grace did not get away with it. Crap.
“What was that?”
“Did Rocky stutter, question?”
