    There is this look in Oscar’s eyes that’s slowly overpowering everything, the droopiness Lando is used to gone and replaced by large, rounded eyes.

    Yet the focus with which Oscar is looking at him remains, even when Lando leans down to get a taste of Oscar’s pouty lips.

    Lando trails a hand down Oscar’s neck, pushing his index finger in Oscar’s sternum. The pulse underneath is muted, but not as still as Lando had expected it to be, forceful thumps that he cannot fully feel. It’s more than enough to see that it’s all a façade, Oscar’s nerves showing Lando whose place is whose.
