Work Text:

Chosen's feet dangled around, lifted a few inches from the ground. He fiddled his fingers on top of the comically large table. It was decorated with giant ornaments too. A giant flower vase, giant utensils, giant wine glasses (even though Chosen never drank wine).

It was tradition to let Chosen choose the theme of his dinner. After Second laid out the choices, Chosen eventually decided to pick the giant theme out of cyberpunk, "bleh" – whatever that entails – and cottage. He thought it'd be funny. It was funny.

Because Blue seemed to really enjoy serving oversized food on oversized plates.

Much to Chosen's amusement.

"I hereby declare your dinner is ready, Your Supreme Majesty Highness!" Blue announced dramatically, climbing stair to actually reach the table.

"And whatever shall the menu be, distinguished gentleman?" Chosen snickers, going along with the bravado.

"You shall unravel it once I finish climbing these stairs!"

Chosen laughed gleefully, holding onto his stomach and leaning back from the force of his laughter. Meanwhile, Blue finally reached the top and started serving the also miraculously oversized food.

Chosen's eyes lit up like the stars when he saw-

"Is that a t-bone steak!?"

Blue nodded, "Yes indeed, my esteemed guest! Seasoned just the way you like it!"

Chosen's mouth watered as Blue served the meal. There were also his favourite chocolate desserts. Unfortunately for him, he had to wait for the others to come in order for him to actually inhale the food.

The moon rose little by little, casting a soft glow on the hill where the dinner was held. Crows wailed in the distance, calling out to their flock. The giant dinner table stood like a decorated thumb (not a sore thumb). Much like a whimsical dinner witches would hold with their gossip partners in their fantasy books.

"CHOSEN!!!"

Red attempted a tackle, leaping ridiculously high to Chosen's chair. The latter managed to fly and dodge at the last second, making Red crash to the ground fruitlessly, a pout forming on his face.

"Red! I told you not to jump at Chosen like that!" Yellow's voice followed as she, Green, and Second appeared, "he doesn't like it, remember?"

"Right. Real sorry."

"I don't mind, really. Just surprised," Chosen replied from the sky, descending slowly back to his chair.

The rest of the Colour Gang climbed up their own chairs, where the delicious steak had been served. Now, only three more seats were left unoccupied.

"Ugh, where is he?" Second muttered, "He promised he'd be done by now."

"He's probably busy," Chosen comforted.

Just then, a familiar purple stick figure arrived. It was Alan. Or, his personal, at least. And he's...

Falling from the sky?

"WATCH OUT!"

Green shrieked, Yellow tried to shield her head. However, before Alan crashed on to the table, a familiar crimson red haired came to the rescue, hauling Alan up from his arms. The Dark Lord. And on his back was Victim.

"Dark! Victim!" Chosen gasped.

"Missed me?" Dark grinned, "Cursors, you two are heavy."

He dropped the two off on two empty chairs before settling down on the last one reserved for him, patting his hands and hips proudly.

"Mitsi and Agent couldn't come today," Victim said, "Did they say that to you guys already?"

"They did," Blue nodded, tidying up his cooking equipment, "They texted me two days ago."

Victim nodded, satisfied. He turned to Chosen, "Congrats on winning that pole, Chosen. Who would've known you'd be the favourite!"

Chosen blushed slightly, "I was surprised too. I guess it was my lucky day."

"So many people made posters for Chosen! No wonder he won!" Second chimed.

"I made one of them, you know," Dark joined in as well, "But it was a duo. Me and Cho."

"And we both ended up being next to each other!"

"I'm still salty about losing, but at least it's to you."

"Alright, everyone, that's enough for now," Alan interrupted, "How about we actually start celebrating by eating all these food?"

His words were met with cheers from everyone on the table, as they rubbed their hands, getting ready to gulf down the food.

"To Chosen!" Alan lifted his enormous wine glass.

"To Chosen!"

That night, laughter echoed from a low hill on the outskirts of Stick City. Illuminated only by the moon, the little group celebrated together, sitting on a gigantic set of tables and chairs.

Their smiles were as big as those tables and chairs as they savoured the taste of their friend's victory.

"Congratulations for winning the Popularity Pole, The Chosen One!"

Notes:

I'm going to make these commemorative fanfics for different events from now on. Should I make it a series or just seperate independent fanfics?
