   Summary

   Jon is to be wed to Elias Bouchard, the most influential mage around. Which doesn't make any sense.
   Jon brings neither money, nor influence, nor magic to the relationship, and yet Elias especially chose him. Not like Jon had much say in the matter.
   Until another mage, Martin, shows up to whisk him away, promising answers.
