“Kiss me, please,” The man pleaded, strong arms gripping the thin waist in front of him.
Soft fingers hesitantly reached down to gently lift up his face, holding his jaw in a tight grip—not enough to hurt.
Stern onyx eyes analyzed the lachrymose face, softening as he took in the desperation coated over the molten silver of the other man's eyes.
The fingers on his jaw loosened, and the figure lowered itself to his level.
The man was Sirius Black, the notorious play-boy who stole countless girl’s hearts. Best friend of the Golden Boy in Gryffindor and part of the infamous “Marauders”.
And he was on his knees for Severus Snape—The boy they’d bullied for almost all their years here at Hogwarts, and the very one Sirius himself had almost sent to his death.
Begging for a kiss, for one last chance.
And it seems he was successful, as soft thin lips covered the plump ones of his own, pressing down onto him with subtle force.
The man settled down on his lap, long legs cradling his torso and lean arms wrapping around his neck.
Sirius had never felt so lucky, being able to taste the sweet kiss of his love once again, and being rewarded the comfort of his embrace.
Sirius brought one hand up to dig into the long raven hair, gently tilting his head to gain even more access to the perfect lips on top of his. He nibbled on the Slytherin’s bottom lip, asking for permission he knew he would gain.
As he expected, the man moaned softly—a sound that only spurred his erratic movements—and opened his mouth just wide enough for Sirius to slip his tongue into.
Severus gasped at the oh-so familiar feeling of the rough tongue on his, ravaging his mouth like it was his to take.
He was warm everywhere the Gryffindor touched, which was unusual for a man who so often ran cold.
Sirius’s large, athletically worn down hands slipped inside his robes and under his shirt, leaving feather light touches all around his waist and traced over the prominent ribs there from years of malnutrition.
They broke apart to catch their breath—Severus more than Sirius—and dove right back in when Sirius pulled the boy flush against him again. Severus didn’t think they could get any closer, limbs tangled up together and faces never separating for more than an inch.
After what felt like hours, Severus pushed Sirius away, gasping for air and placing his hand over the other’s mouth to prevent him from leaning in again. Not that it stopped his whines, but one couldn’t always win, he guessed.
He once again took in his surroundings—the dark classroom in juxtaposition to the waves of moonlight cascading in through the large windows before them. Sirius particularly looked ethereal in the light, silver pooling around him like he was some sort of holy being.
Severus snorted at the image, for someone who compared the Slytherin for being such a ‘person of the darkness’, Sirius looked quite fit in here.
Of course, not that there was a place that Sirius Black didn’t fit in, he was made to always belong, anywhere he went. Even if that place was in the clutches of the cold Slytherin.
Sirius would disagree, saying that if anyone was in clutches, it was Severus. Starting a romantic relationship with the man who once bullied him horribly, with torment that still affected him even after years, and arguably would for the rest of his life.
He’d felt so terrible about that, trying to make up in ways that would—yes, soothe him, but never fix the actions already done.
And that was why they’d broken up. Because they could never be together, you see.
Maybe that one last prank from the Marauders was the final straw, the thing that let him realize it once and for all.
Severus knew Sirius didn’t do it—he could tell, if not from the look of utter despair on the man’s face, the way he hexed his own friends in public just to protect the Slytherin.
It would’ve been romantic, and it was, really—but like Severus said, they would never work out.
But Sirius pleaded to meet with him just once again, looking absolutely wrecked with his dark eye-bags and painfully disheveled hair.
So Severus agreed. Not because he felt bad about the man, no. Just to give him closure, to finalize that they were done. Severus didn’t get why the man wouldn’t just move on, it wasn’t as if he’d never been dumped before.
Severus half expected him to curse him out for making him publicize the relationship and get with another girl in just a few days to cover it. He felt bad afterwards though when he saw the hurt look painted on Sirius’s face after he’d admitted this.
So Sirius asked for one final wish, just one kiss. And who was Severus not to oblige?
That was how he ended up back in the Gryffindor’s lap, panting and out of breath as said man stared at him in barely concealed reverence. No—Severus was sure he was showing it on purpose, so Severus could fumble and agree to get back together again.
“So,” Severus rasped, voice coming out in a whisper. Sirius snapped to attention like a dog, eyes wide and looking up at Severus with all his attention.
Severus scrambled under the attention, like he always did whenever Sirius did this to him. Looking at him like he was the only thing that mattered, like he meant that much to him.
“We…are over now.” Severus enunciated, unable to look into his eyes. He moved to get up off his lap, only to be pulled back flush against the muscled body. “Sirius..!-”
The words died on his throat as he stared wide eyed at the slow tears pouring down the Gryffindor’s face. Severus felt his mouth dry up, he didn’t know what to do. Sure, the man had shown a lot of emotion to him, but he had never cried before!
Severus never knew how to comfort people, but he couldn’t fuck this up, because this was Sirius. And suddenly, it didn’t matter that they were supposed to be breaking up, all it mattered was that the man he loved was upset enough to shed tears and he had to stop it.
Severus brought his hand up, wiping the tears from his cheeks and watching as the heartbroken man leaned into his touch. “Oh dear…I,-”
Sirius shook his head, loosening his grip on the Slytherin—albeit with great reluctance—facing away from the man. “No, I’m sorry,” He said hoarsely, “I shouldn’t…”
Severus couldn’t take it, the man—his man, looked so destroyed because of him. And he just couldn’t take it.
Severus had a problem—a weakness, if you will. He could never handle seeing those he loved in pain, and would often put aside his own problems if only to please them.
Of course, his happiness came from the happiness of his loved ones, so he didn’t really mind.
Not that that was helping right now. Sirius sniffed softly, tears still pouring out like a waterfall. The sound tugged on his heartstrings, and he brought the hand wiping his tears away down to cup his face.
“Sirius..” He murmured, causing the man to look back at him. “Oh fine! We can get back together, I love you-” He was cut off as Sirius swooped in to smash his lips against his aggressively, hands brought up to cup his neck in place.
Severus startled but leaned into it, matching his vigorous pace. That was until he tasted the salt of the tears on the other’s lips, to which he grimaced and tried to push him away to wipe that away.
But he gave in anyway when Sirius whined softly and chased his lips, like a pet who’d lost his favorite toy.
Severus squirmed in Sirius’s lap, until the man had enough and pushed him back against the cold floor. Of course, he held him gently all the while and left his lips to mutter a cushioning charm under his breath, all to ensure he was comfortable.
Severus wrapped his arms around the man’s neck once again, watching silently and Sirius rested their foreheads against each other. They were so, so close, and Severus couldn’t wait to get closer.

The next morning found the couple naked and dazed upon the cold floors of the thankfully abandoned classroom. Severus was covered with a conjured blanket and the tight grip of Sirius. But even that wouldn’t help his discomfort.
He sat up, fighting his lover’s arms off of him and stretching painfully. It was always such a struggle the days after sleeping with Sirius, and while he rather enjoyed the time he spent doing it, the joint pain afterwards was just unbearable.
Of course, doing it on the stone hard floor didn’t help that in any way whatsoever. Severus cursed Sirius out loud while trying to get up, stumbling instead into Sirius’s limp body.
That awoke him, and Sirius woke up looking bright faced but otherwise just as exhausted as him.
He helped the Slytherin get his clothes on, making sure he looked fine before hastily putting on his own.
“How do I look, Sev?”
“Like you just got shagged.”
Sirius snickered, “Sounds about right.” Then, more seriously, he added, “Are we…okay?”
Severus sighed. He thought he knew that they shouldn’t be together, but if it was hurting both him and Sirius…
It was just for the moment, he convinced himself. They would eventually break up, and go their own ways.
“Yes, Sirius. We are fine.” He smiled slightly, an expression Sirius felt rewarded with. He livened up immediately and smiled back, wider and much more confidently.
