   Summary

   8:24am

   Ilya

Ilya woke to find himself in a wave of discomfort and unease. He had been sleeping on and off all night, tossing and turning until he felt so restless yet exhausted he didn’t know how to feel. It felt like his body had been thrown around in a washing machine just for it to be paused and then spun on the high spin cycle for several hours. He was awake at times but it felt like he was in a daze or a dream - nothing made sense.

When he finally realised he was at least alive he immediately noticed the sharp throbbing pain echoing around his head like he was underwater. His eyes felt heavy and when he attempted to open them he was met with a wave of nausea and dizziness. He felt like he would pass out right then and there. And then he tried to swallow, which felt like he had eaten drawing pins.

   Ah fuck. I'm sick.
