Maddie clamped a hand over her mouth in horror at the involuntary “mew”, but decided to just play it off, huffing and crossing her arms. What was that about? Ew. Why am I getting so in character all of a sudden?
Flowery chuckled again and rose to his feet, seemingly unbothered. “My apologies, princess.”
